There's definitely much more on the boards here than at the forum. Generally, the forum topics skirt, to a large extent, the public policy questions (for that, you want DID). That said, the majority of people at mine were liberal, but there was a healthy contingent of conservatives. I was the most socialist person one of my freidns at the forum had ever met.
Poilitics are not huge, though, and easily avoidable. Member and First Chairman (Jan-Feb 2005), Liberal Caucus. This post made possible by Thaddeus K. Wrinklefiber Industries: "When inadequate is good enough." |

except for an argument by the vietnam memorial, politics were limited to civilized discussions. also, i'm very vocal about politics, so if i didn't get into arguments, no one will.

Born to run is correct.
People are much more open minded, whether they are conservative or liberal. In the group rooms in the hotel the discussions are very lively and everyone is given respect. I wish politics really was like this. The Political Compass Economic Left/Right: -4.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.41 |
