I have an appointment to see my state's representative on Wednesday, and his office just emailed me asking if I would be accompanied when I attended. I just tried to call the NYLF office, but no one is answering the phone (afterall, it is 7:30 EST). Does anyone know?

Thanks, I just sent an email. The page makes a massive note saying that if you want a quick reply, you should call. Hopefully I'll get one soon, though....

Ditto. Somehow I've escaped with zero nerves. I'm flying out from California crazy early in the morning. I have to leave for Sacramento on the 22nd so I can get up in time. =D

Hahaha. My mother was freaking out about me flying out to DC because of thunder storms.
Weather is generally great here in the summer (about 100-110F), but last winter it got down to about 10F.

Dang, if it got that hot here people would freak out! We are used to rain and bleh weather. Haha, so do you play any sports or anything. I play soccer and golf. For school and for fun.

I used to be on a swim team a long, long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away....), but no sports other than that. I do a lot of stuff on the internet.
I halfway do things on a humor wiki, and I'm an admin/babysitter on it's Skype chatroom. I've spent a lot of my time lately helping out the Green Revolution on twitter.
In other actually physically doing stuff news, I volunteer over at the television station.

Soccer seems like fun. I've only played it a couple times, though.
I'm more of a computer geek than anything else.
However, I do love swimming. I almost joined the team earlier this year, but they make us swim in the snow, and I hate cold weather, so I decided against joining.

I've talked to probably ten people so far, but I haven't had very many real conversations. They're mostly very awkward and short. I did have a great conversation with one girl about music, though.
What about you?
