- Are we allowed to have our laptops? Because I was thinking about taking mine, so that I could do some academic prep when needed

I haven't gone yet, haha, but I think I can still answer some questions from what I've read up on.

-laptops- not bringing one id think i dont think i will need it but u can bring it...
- dance i think the chaperones will stay away a little bit unless it gets tooo "dirty"
-roomates they pick what is best or something like that u dont have a choice and u get 2 roomates so 3 in a room.
-funtime little prob when we are going to washington and we will have some free time at night...and the 4th of july we have "casual time" that night so i am sure we are going to do something funnnnnn. i hope lol

in the infomation for scholars and Families Summer 2008 look in there into the "what to bring" section it has a breakdown of what kinds of clothes we will need to wear. on that friday evening "which idont know what time that is exactly' it says casual clothing idk if this means if we have free time or what but this is the 4th of july so i bet we will do someting fun at least that night

i didnt bring a laptop and i was fine

the dance is a lot of fun, everyone dances different, b/c of where they are from, so the music is incoporated to everyones style...and its a lot fun

roommates=random

and there is some fun time, like everyday they pretty much let you free to go tour around for a couple of hours (i.e. capitol hill, pentagon national mall...etc)

you'll have a great time...trust me

so on casual time you can choose whoever you want to go with? and is a chaparone with you (ha why am i asking i bet its a yes)

we get to go to pentagon city! yes! omg! thats my favorite mall. but yessi we may not have a chaperone, i mean we are all young adults, and i am sure they trust us!

yeah like vball girl (hey stef) hardly anyone brought a laptop when we went...the dance is super fun...and the whole time is funtime lol... and roommates are completely random i got along great with mine tho we stayed up late everynight watchin shot at love cuz it was the only thing on everynight we were there!
ps there arent really any chaperones i mean they are there when you need them but you hardly ever see them unless you are with your jam groups.
