Is anyone here in the JSA (Junior State of America)? I'm helping to start a chapter at my school this year.

I was sort of part of my high school chapter, but generally I just attended the area's Fall and Spring States in Santa Clara.

I'm going to Med, but I'm in JSA. Since I'm a freshman, I have only been to a few meetings, but it is A LOT of fun so far!

To answer Rene's question, JSA stands for Junior State of America, and is a debate club in many schools. In fact, my new school won Mid-Atlantic chapter of the year last year!

Yes! Actually someone just started a chapter and this is its first year at my school. I haven't been able to go to any of the conventions/minicons yet though. Frown

MAS Spring State was amazing! I'm going to the Symposium at Princeton this summer, too. Is anyone here planning on going to that?

P.S. And not to brag or anything Wink, but my school won chapter of the year again. First school to win two years in a row!
