I was sort of part of my high school chapter, but generally I just attended the area's Fall and Spring States in Santa Clara.

I'm going to Med, but I'm in JSA. Since I'm a freshman, I have only been to a few meetings, but it is A LOT of fun so far!
To answer Rene's question, JSA stands for Junior State of America, and is a debate club in many schools. In fact, my new school won Mid-Atlantic chapter of the year last year!
Yes! Actually someone just started a chapter and this is its first year at my school. I haven't been able to go to any of the conventions/minicons yet though.
