Howdy, I just had a few questions on the attire for this program. I read the dress code, but I still have a few questions on it. So I really would appreciate if ya'll would help me out thanks!

1.How many professional clothes should I bring?

2.How many casual clothes should I bring?

3.How many relaxed professional clothes should I bring?

4.What exactly is the difference between professional attire and relaxed professional attire?

5.I read somewhere that NYLF has proper dinners everyday and I wanted to know what you wear to them and I'm not talking about the dinner/dance.

6.What do you wear to the dinner/dance, as in reference to what is appropreiate?

7.Is jewlery, not crazy, but a nice necklace, earrings, bracelets, rings, are they allowed?

8.Is hair an issue or not?

I think that covers most of it, if not I'll post more questions. I'm sorry I know ya'll answer these all the time, but I just want to know what is expected I hate to be in the dark and thanks again for your help! Big Grin

Hey,
These are alot of questions LOL. Look calm down, before I went on the trip I was also worried about how many clothes I would bring.
What I did was bring an outfit for each accorded type of outfit wear. I brought more than 5 proffessional outfits & 2 relaxed professional. But that was just me. One thing that I would have changed was I should of brought a couple more casual outfits because we dressed casual more times than I imagined. My suitcase was one of the smallest believe it or not lolz. But I was happy with the amount of clothes I brought. My room mates had really big luggages. To the dinner nights most of the girls & I (also the guys) kept their proffessional outfits on, some girls went back to their room and changed but hey.. that's your decision. It saves you time though because we barely had any time to ourselves we were always busy. To the dinner dance I wore a pretty silver sparkling cocktail dress and it slanted a little and was a little above the knees and I wore highheels. Most girls wore cocktail dresses, some wore prom dresses, and others wore proffessional outfits. As for me, I always cordinated jewlery with all my proffessional outfits and such. It would be best if you didn't have hoops earrings to go along with your professional outfits just keep it dark colors and serious jewlery (not flashy) I also wore rings & yeah they were allowed. No hair is not an issue don't worry about it. You can wear any way you feel comfortable with.
Well I had an amazing experience when I went on the trip!!!
If you would like to ask any further questions feel free to add me &/or send me an email at my hotmail: dominicanmodel_girl4u@hotmail.com

well take care hun!!!

1.How many professional clothes should I bring?
Bring one for every day you are there

2.How many casual clothes should I bring?
Seriously, they tell you to bring 2--you wear casual more then that..go for about 4

3.How many relaxed professional clothes should I bring?
Just one...you can wear your professional and just take the jacket off...

4.What exactly is the difference between professional attire and relaxed professional attire?
lol not alot...suit without the jacket

5.I read somewhere that NYLF has proper dinners everyday and I wanted to know what you wear to them and I'm not talking about the dinner/dance. you go straight from seminars/JAM to dinner...you wear what ever you are wearing

6.What do you wear to the dinner/dance, as in reference to what is appropreiate?
a nice dress...some of the girls wore promish DO NOT!!...nearly everyone had a knee length not alot of longer dresses--its really not a semi formal

7.Is jewlery, not crazy, but a nice necklace, earrings, bracelets, rings, are they allowed? i wore some crazy colors...but yeah i had jewlerey for every outfit:P

8.Is hair an issue or not?
lol nope...i had a girl in my group with blue hair....NYLF-LAW was more laid back then i thought

I think that covers most of it, if not I'll post more questions. I'm sorry I know ya'll answer these all the time, but I just want to know what is expected I hate to be in the dark and thanks again for your help! Big Grin
