Yes, I assure you that this program is real. In fact, not only is it real, but it is a great experience. Although I am not as familiar with the Law program, I am attending the Med program this summer. Before I applied, I did a lot of research first, and I found that this is a great, inspiring program.
Participants interact with distinguished legal scholars and take part in seminars on current legal issues. They also have the chance to visit top law firms and law schools, as well as local and federal courtrooms, and the United States Supreme Court. The Forum on Law is held each fall and spring in Washington, D.C.
There is a thread here, on Studentdoctor.net (a great website for future doctors- Make suer you put "Carissa" as your referrer if you create an account). Although it is about the Med program, I'm sure you'll find it interesting to see that people who attended this program are actually on their way to becoming doctors, just like people who attend to NYLF/Law Program are inspired to acheive their goals.
I went to the Law Program last fall and yes it was amazing. Who ever told you this is a scam needs to get they mind right. lol. You will have soo much fun and make soo many new friends. i still talk to the ones i made
like me lol yeah its definitely worth going, you get so much out of it, learn tons of new things, meet a bunch of new ppl. Its just amazing, so i would say....GO!
