2005 Spring DID Attendee
Posted
Hello, I will be attending this session starting Feb. 15 and I have a question about uniforms.

I'm in the JROTC and I was wondering if those who are in my position have to wear their uniform. I would not mind at all, but is it required?

If it's optional, I'd like to know how many people actually do wear their uniform. Again, I wouldn't mind because I love it;however, I'd like to know a ballpark percentage of students who choose to wear it.

Definitely not required. If you aren't bothered by wearing it, then go for it and you won't have to buy new clothes like I did.

I'm going this spring...w00t.

Anyway, I'm a c/captain in JROTC, I'll be wearing mine so you won't be alone. Also it is in the literature mailed to your house, you can wear it.

awesome, thanks guys. So how many of you are planning to wear it besides Keith? And btw, Keith, which session will you be attending? I'll be in the one from Feb 15-20

I probably will wear mine too to not worry about "formal clothing" and such. I like my uniform anyway. I'm a C/Master Sergeant.

I respect your zeal. You have no idea how hard it was for me to say that, but I'm trying to look for something positive to say to everyone.

Have a great day.

I don't know all the correct terms, ofcourse, but, which ever one has a shirt, tie, jacket, etc. Go with most formal if you really want to impress the ladies, lol.

I have no idea how to sign in on this thing, but I'm going to the Feb 22-27 Forum. I'm in Army JROTC and I needed to know whether we could bring our uniform or not. :S I'm a c/LTC and the battalion commander. Should I be bringing my uniform? :S

Apparently we don't have to (JROTC folks), but if you want to, it's cool too. I'm going to bring civilian clothes AND my Class A uniform, which I'll probably wear once or twice.
