Hi there can someone tell me how old some of the attendees are. I have a 16 yr old that has been nominated but I wanted to know a little more on security? I just don't like sending my daughter somewhere that she is not safe or I worry about her? Thanks

I just registered as well, and I'll be 18 (12th grade) come fall, so there's a healthy age range represented.

Sharon , my daughter is 17 . She is a rising senior and has not done anything like this before . I believe they will have very good security and our daughters need to use street smat common sense when in D.C. It will help them to see the bigger picture of the world. God Bless !

they usually want sophomore to seniors that go but freshman went while i was there. you just have to be in high school. This is the leadership forum on National Security so dont worry they know how to keep everyone safe. There are a few days we went out and walked around DC but you are still with a group of people. This is a good forum to go to. They provide you with a chance to literally be in the Middle of National security, something very few people get to experience.
