from what i understand, they're a way of A)the staff people to get a better understanding of you and your strengths/weaknesses and B)being able to see how the people in your life view you and how they think you are doing in certain aspects of your life.

Do you actually have to have five mentor and five peer surveys? Is it accectable to have any less than that?

There should be a site name in the packet that you received in the mail. You give your peers and mentors your student ID and the go to the site and fill out the survey. You don't even get to see their answers until you get to the forum.

I filled out the survey yesterday as a Mentor.. it is only 8 very simple questions, regarding the enrolled students strengths and character traits such as work ethic, and ambitions to be a leader. they just choose a rating from 1 to 4 , 4 being the "always" and 1 being the "never" it only took about a minute.. I dont see where anyone should be concerned about filling it out.
My "enrollee" just sent the web link to several favorite teachers, coaches, church youth minister, boy scout leaders &/or fellow scouts, friends, family etc.. He sent it to more than ten, knowing not everyone will get around to doing it.. it was very simple over all.
