Well I have many and they are listed below:
-OBGYN
-NICU
-PICU
-ER
-Maxillofacial Surgeon
-Pediatrics
-Peds ER doc

Well it is somewhat evident that I like children and I want to work with them. I don't really want to work in a doctor's office or a clinical situation. I love the dynamics of a hospital and thats where I would love to be and work everyday, the hustle and bustle and excitement are perfect for me. I also don't want to work in a small hosptial...the hospital in my town is the biggest in Western Kansas...but it really isn't that big(put it this way they are great at what they do but the ER only has like 8 true beds and they are in the process of adding CPCU for those of you that don't know that is a cardio-pulminary care unit. So I'm thinking of a hospital that is maybe one of the biggest in the state...I like rainy weather so Seattle or Chicago are perfect in my mind...but it is also where ever my family and my job takes me that i will go.
What are you interested in for Specialization?
What type of setting do you want to work in?

hey Morgan! I think you should set aside some time one day and research every practice on your list...then you can narrow it down to @ least 3 and you will have a better understanding of what you want to do and what's expected in the job description! What session are you going to??

Hey! Me too!
I've been all over the place with specialties. I want to work in a hospital, right now, I want to be an ER doctor, because I like my day to be varied.

Hey everyone!
I am attending Boston Sesson 4!
I have no idea what I want my specialty to be, I am actually volunteering at a hospital nearby to see what different types of doctors do in their normal work day. I want to work in a hospital for sure. I want something dynamic, more structured than an ER, but still able to have a little excitment everyday! I also want to get to know patients a little more! I am so picky and am never going to find the perfect doctor it seems! Anybody have any ideas?
How did you injuree your knee, Aldi14?
I have dislocated mine twice - not the most pleasant experiance in the world - and have to be very carefull because if I do it again I have to have surgury to tighten the ligaments!!! That would really stink!

Up I climbed both of them with a 70 pound backpack.

Jefferson is the one that took me down. ( i climbed washing ton in 13 hours and 12 mins, and jefferson in 13 hours, thats up and down with a pack)
