They actually did and want to attempt to do surgery again, however they didn't think my knee was up for it with my bone bruising and PFPS. Im getting ready for a volleyball tourney on thursday, lets hope i dont tear it up.
I hope the brace doesnt look wiered when im at NYLF.

I love Frisbee, and all other sporty sports.

I hope it all works out! The brace won't look too weird! I wish I could carelessy play all of the sports like I used to. I don't miss them all that much because I can be somewhat uncoordinated at some points!

Lol, I play cautiously, but i don't sacrifice my fun or my love of the game, I just pay close attention to what my body tells me.

You're lucky that your body will give you prior warning! I could be fine one second, and the next step on an uneven surface and my kneecap is on the outside of my leg!

Hi everyone!

Sorry about your knee Stacy. I have had the same problem with my ankle for 8 years now. I basically destroyed it so many times that when I had surgery the doctor said he was in shock that I could walk lol! But the doctors pulled my muscles just tight enough that I immediately developed tarsal tunnel syndrome (like carpal tunnel except in your foot) and the doctors ignored my complaints for 7 months. I then had to have another surgery, but I think it was too late because even now, a year later, I have problems with it (I will probably have to live with some nerve damage the rest of my life). Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope everything heals alright. Back to the topic, I am particularly interested in pursuing orthopedics; I am especially motivated to go into this specialty because of personal experiences.

I feel kinda bad, because I can't relate to any of your stories! lol. I've never had a serious injury, which is surprising.

....Crap. I forget what I was going to say next! Roll

WOW!!! I'm really sorry! Well, at least you have exciting stories to tell Wink. All I did was trip on stairs Bang.

Alisha: don't feel bad. I knew I always wanted to be a doctor, but my experience just makes me more determined to become one Smile

Horselover: I completely agree with you; I hate doctors Roll lol
