I've always been really interested in neurology and neurosurgery. It fascinates me to know how the human mind works.

I totally agree. That's why I am considering doing a double major in biology and psychology in college (if it doesn't already have a neuroscience or biopsychology program).

Yes I was thinking something very similar. A double major in most likely surgery and psychology. Which session are you attending Larissa?

I'm not sure if you can major in surgery as an undergrad... but I'd love to do a concentration in orthopedic surgery when I go to medical school Big Grin. I'm attending DC session 1 at Georgetown. Exactly one week away! I am SOOOO excited Na-na!!!

I don't know where I am attending college yet; however, so far I'm looking at Johns Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, Haverford, William & Mary, UVA, Georgetown, Swarthmore, Brown, and Amherst. But I'm open to any college - as long as they have a good reputation overall.

Wow that's really great of hoping to go there. My dream would be Cornell but who knows if I'll actually get in. Although UPenn has a really good medical program right up there with Harvard Medical. But we seem to share a lot of the same interests lol. What are some other things that you like to do?

Well I like to listen to classical music a lot! Play violin, hanging out with friends and family (I know it's kind of corny, but I have very close relationships with my family members). I haven't decided where I want to go to medical school... after reading a bunch of articles on applications, it seems as if (if I am lucky) I will attend wherever I get in! I guess though I want to go to a reputable medical school; however, I REALLY want to attend a good residency program - Mass General would be AMAZING, or Hopkins, but those are sooo hard to get into Frown. What about you?

Haha I swear tht you are my identical twin! Mass General is also where I want to attend for residency and work there when I become a surgeon. Lol that's half the reason I choose Boston.(And becuase it was closest to my home.)But I real enjoy classical music and virtually all aspects of knowledge incluing langauges, history, math, and all sciences. Basically anything that has to do with knowledge. But I really do enjoy too just having fun with my friends and family Big Grin

Same here, I'm really hoping to be a psychiatrist one day.
