Ditto to basically everything you said (but I DETEST math - I like the practical applications of it, in subjects like physiscs (blehh...)and CHEMISTRY(<3); I don't get the point of theoretical math, because if it's just theory, like infinity, how can teachers grade us if something is "right" or "wrong" - it's just theory lol).

Boston was my second choice. The main reason why I attended DC is because I want to apply to Georgetown and Hopkins for undergrad; otherwise I would have attended Boston (I want to apply to only a few school's there, particularly Amherst, but maybe Tufts).

No im sorry! I don't even have like a myspace or twitter! But I do have an aim or other various accounts, so i'll give you mine if you have one. MM Georgetown is a really good school though. I have a friend who goes to St. Regis in NYC that wants to go there.

Haha I agree with you theory about theories though. I do like math but its probably my least favorite out of all of them, but I always think, even relativity, how could you prove a mathematical equation. I mean I could make one up right now and if i get an answer that seems plausible it'd be considered correct. Like my friend and I came up with a new equation on how to factor polynomials in math class lol. I just wonder about that sometimes...

Hello everyone!

As far as my interests in specialties go, right now I would like to specialize in General Surgery. I will at least apply for a General Surgery internship for the first year after completing medical school. I may find after completing a General Surgery internship that I want to subspecialize (in plastic surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, etc.) All I really know right now is that I want to be a surgeon ("a chance to cut is a chance to cure," as a friend of my dad's from when he was in medical school would say).
