ugh.....BUSY!
You know how homework comes in waves at school?
Well, this is one of those tsunami times....at the same time as when I have to practice for orchestra, and when I have to fill out an application form for something I'm doing during the summer (besides this)!
But the weather is warm, and life is interesting at least!
My dad got Slumdog Millionaire from the library, has anyone seen it? Ive heard that it is AMAZING.
So how has everyone sle been doing?
I feel like I havent posted in a while...*.*

Man, I've been super busy too! Ughh. I just came home from a paddling race (our second one). And did you know that a paddling race takes like, the whole morning? Well, it's probably because all the high schools on Guam challenge on Saturdays.

I'd tell you our whole standings and stuff, but then I'd have to explain how everythings goes, and I'm pretty tired.

Anyways, good luck with all your running, Angelina, and what exactly are you signing up for, Melanie? (I think I'm going to summer school this year.)

Oh, and welcome to this forum, Kevin and Vicki Wink

I really want to watch Slumdog Millionaire too! But isn't it rated R or something? IDK.

Why do all English teachers insist on ruining our spring vacations? Am I right or what? I also have to do 5 hours of community service to do! Oh, and did I mention that I have yet to write letters to businesses and stuff for my NYLF fund? SO MUCH WORK, SO LITTLE TIME.

They do!!!!
It's not just you. Seriously. Their goal in life is to make you as busy as they are during spring break!
grrrrr.
Yeah, spring break for me was unquestionably the most busy time of the year for me (so far) lol.
I saw Slumdog Millionaire. It was A-MAZ-ING!!!!
The best part was the soundtrack. It was seriously hardcoreishly cool! ^.^

Hobbies? Books? Music? Sports?
Favorite movies?
Pets? Instruments? Size of school?

Yeah, so we had a pep assembly at school today. It was SERIOUSLY embarrasing. Everyone was really tired so when the dance team and other groups got on to perforn in the gym, everyone was only half heartedly clapping and it was WAAAAAAAY awkward. Do any of your guys' schools have pep assemblies? They are ABMINATIONS where I live. LAWL.

Oi, I'm Aaron Wilkins. I'll be going to Houston's Session 2. I live in Sugar Land which, thankfully, is only a 20 minute drive to Houston. I'm nervous about this camp, event, thing. I've been to something similar to this before but that was a lot more...strict. My plan in life is to be a Genetic Engineerist and I hope that by going to this, I'll be a leg up on people who haven't been to it! Lol. Ttyl!

Hey AshleySmile (Geez, I feel so left out...everyone here is from the US Razz)

Well, if you started reading from the way beginning, then you would have found out that I, Tami, am a 14-year-old freshman who lives on Guam. What grade are you?

Our "pep assemblies" are called Shark Shake-Ups. Whoever wants to come (its held during lunch), comes. The announcer, usually a coach or a funny teacher, introduces each grade level, and the winnder is the class who can cheer for themselves the loudest. It's so boring compared to my middle school pep rallies. Oh, and it's also quite embarassing, because it's ritual to "BOO!!" the freshman. Plus, since I'm the Freshman PRO, I was one of the people holding up our puny banner. Ughh...seniors.

pffffffffffffffffffffft!
Shark Shake-ups?!?!?!?!!
OK, that is PRECIOUS! Our mascot is the Bronco, which I guess isnt atrocious, but I bet we could do a little better than that...^.^
Yeah, when a lame thing comes on in our pep assemblies, everyone doesnt boo, or clap. they just STARE. Its REALLY awkward until one of teh more hilarious guy seniors decides to strip tease (and belive me, this happens more often than one would expect) and almost gets dragged out of teh gym. Happens a lot too... LAWL!
Awwwwwwwwww, I would hate being booed. But our school kinda has this weird "No-Boo Policy" meaning that if you Boo, you will DIE from teh laser heat evil glares of the counselsors that stand by to make sure no one starts anything. Its pretty hilarious.
Oh, and the drum line plays. They are AMAZING. Thier songs are just...wow. Most of the people ON the drum line are nasty, but I seriously respect their talents.
Do any of your schools have music programs or do any of you play instruments?

Melanie, you're sooooo FUNNY! Haha, I'm still laughing about your "No-Boo" policy.

Yeah, we do have some band clubs and stuff, but the only presenters we had at the shke up were the cheerleaders. They also had some sort of dumb recognition of our football champions. (Go sharks!!) They did some stupid huddle in the middle of the gym. (rolls eyes) Football players.

So anything new?

hey yall...sry i havent replied back yet...ive been kind of wrapped up in school and sports...i am a 16 yr old junior at a teeny tiny town in the tx panhandle, there are only 14 kids in my class and most of us have been together since K =)...um sports...i run cross country play basketball throw the shot put and discus i do UIL and One Act Play and i play tennis also...i volunteer at a local hospital whenever i can and i am a Certified Nurses Assistant at that same hospital...so i work on the weekends and days off out of school, and sometimes after school! and i love every minute of it lol...with my experiences at the hospital, i am kind of looking into becoming a pediatric surgeon, or possibly an anesthesiologist =)
anyways, thats the basics about me....oh and our school only has pep rallies before football games..which is pretty fun! but they are very small and our class is ALWAYS the loudest because we are the biggest class HA (my school is k-12th too)
HAPPY EASTER!

woah, woah, WOAH. 14 PEOPLE?!??!?!?!
Wow.....
That must be really weird. My school has like, 500-some people in my class alone.
By the way, the anem of the town you live in is amazing. I thought that mine was ironic (cuz I live in KANSAS city, MISSOURI...aha.) but yours wins!
Oh yeah, happy easter.
I LOVE good Friday.
I mean, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. For me it is excellent Friday.
This is because I play the violin and the harp. So on religious occasions like Easter and Chirstmas and whatnot, I am hired to do gigs. Good Friday is one of those times. heheh.
Life is good. The church I played at last night was awesome, but slightly chaotic. Actually, REALLY chaotic. But it was cool.
But unfortuantely, I didnt know that thye would MIKE me! ARGHHHHHHHH! I was REALLY glad taht my solo pieces that I had picked out fo rthe prelude were easy, because that was weird! There were, like, 300 people or more in the chapel. ARGH!
So do any of you guys do anything for Easter? My parents are finally convinced that I do not believe in the Easter bunny, but I still get chocolate!
And random question: What is your favorite holiday?

hah sorry i should prolly clear that up...i live in a teeny tiny town east of amarillo thats name is NOT named podunk...i just didnt want everyone and their dog to know where i lived cuz it would be too easy to find me...you just have to know my name and our town is so little, they would be able to tell you exactly where i was lol...so kansas city still takes the cake...your class has more people in it than my town does hah...and you play the harp? that is freakin sweet!!

=)
