As all of you inevitably know... medical school is an integral component in the making of a doctor. I was just wondering what medical schools all of you think that you might want to attend. I know that for many of you, medical school is a long time away, but it is also VERY important (which is part of why I have been thinking about it for years). Part of me wants to attend one of the MOST prestigious schools(like Harvard, Johns Hopkins, or Mayo Medical School), but part of me doesn't really care about prestige. I would really like to attend Pritzker School of Medicine (University of Chicago), Feinberg School of Medicine (Northwestern University), or Rosalind Franklin University.
So, all of that being said, what medical schools are everybody considering?

I'm kind of like that too- there's a tiny bit of me that wants to go to John Hopkins, but only for the prestige. But, even since I was really little, I wanted to go to Emory for both undergrad and med school.
Good thing we still have a couple more years to decide. =)

How old are you guys? I just graduated from high school and will be attending Taylor University (Upland, IN) starting this September.
I want to get an early start on looking for medical schools and preparing for the MCATs and whatnot. Basically, since I am so close to my family, location is a big factor in my medical school search. I will probably largely apply to schools in Illinois and Indiana.
I have thought about Columbia for medical school, they do have a great program!
The medical school I want to go to is UCSF it one of the best in California which is where I live but columbia does have a good program so maybe I'll apply to that too
