Hey! My name is Alysa. I am 17 years old and just finishing my junior year of high school. I am in what is called the IB program...it is basically a college prep program. I live in Bradenton, Florida...it is about an hour south of Tampa. I live with my parents,2 sisters and brother. I am really excited about this summer. I cannot wait. I just want everyone to know that I am in love sports. I especially love football and baseball. My absolute favorite team is the Boston Red Sox. I am just warning you that sports are a major part of my life. Is there anyone else going that is as much in love with sports as I am? I hope so. I also want to say that I love the city of Boston. It is so beautiful. That is the city I want to live in. I cannot wait to meet you all and see what fun things are in store for us this summer. Talk to you all later.

hey guys i just noticed that this message board is here.. i think most people that are going July 3-12 are on the regular Boston message board just to let you know! well anyways im christina and a sophomore right now..ill be 16 this july..i live in upstate new york
Alysa-I cant believe it! im in the IB program too and ive never heard of another school having it! my school always brags and says its some big thing that a bunch of schools have but i wish we just had AP classes..i dont think im going to do the full IB diploma though..only the certificates because im too busy with my dance and musical schedule to fit it all in. Have you found many colleges who accept IB credits?

my SN is tappR8 if anyone wants to chat Smile
talk to you all later!

Hey! I'm Morgan, I am going to be a Senior next year. I am so excited to go to Boston, I've never been anywhere past Montana! BTW, I live in a small town about forty-five minutes from Seattle, Washington.
The school that my mom teaches at has the IB program, but I like my school's AP classes.

dncrG8-I am so surprised someone else is in the IB program...I thought I would be the only one. There are quite a few other schools in Florida that have the IB program. I seem to really enjoy the program but we mostly take AP classes...then again almost every kid in the AP class is in my IB class...the school I go to doesn't have the most dedicated kids. I actually just finished my tests for this year today. I was really happy. I had my german and ITGS test today. I was relieved to get it over with. There are quite a few schools in Florida that accept IB credits. One kid who graduated from IB at my school had 45 credit hours when he graduated. It was crazy.
Kelsey-That is really cool that you live in Gainsville. I want to go to UF for college. Maybe you could give the scoop on the city.
Is anyone really involved with their Student Government or Student Council? I was just elected Student Government/Student Body President. It would be cool to talk to someone who is involved. My sn is Aleefus15. I would love to chat!

Hey,
Is anyone else taking the SAT this Saturday? I am and I am a little freaked out.
What AP classes are you guys in?
I'm in US history and English Language. I am taking AP Gov, AP English Literature and maybe AP Bio, but I might switch it to Physics because I've already taken Bio sophomore year.

My name's Nicole. I'm 16 and currently a sophomore from near Boston. You guys are lucky, i wish i was in an ap class...I could've taken ap us history and ap bio, but I took two maths this year(which took me out of ap history) and they stopped letting juniors take ap bio. But I'm in honors everything instead...Is anyone taking anatomy and physiolgy next year?

My name's Dan, I'm from the amazingly boring town of Billerica, MA. I'm 17, a junior, a sports nut and I love to play guitar. I get out of school June 22nd, so I'm looking forward to that I took AP US history this year and next year I'm taking AP Euro, AP Calc AB, AP Chem, Anatomy and Physiology, French 4, and Honors English. If anyone wants to talk, my sn is Dantoine25

haha yeah I love the Red Sox, the funny thing is that my best friend is a Yankees fan. There are 2 types of Yankees fans, the knowledgeable ones who actually enjoy baseball and the "fans" who cheer for the Yankees just to get people riled up. I am a fan of the former.

Hey, I getting out of school on the 22nd too! Actually, that really sucks. 14 more days! I took anatomy and physiology this year, and I enjoyed it, my class was really easy, the memorization was a little hard. And I am going to say I am a Red Sox fan because I HATE the Yankees, no offense, they just always beat the Mariners and I am a big Mariners fan.
