ppl-ppl sounds really nice.
NYLC is sponsored by CYLC. its more political.

i hate politics and all that jazz.lol. well i believe its as fun as NYLF Med. i have no idea, i actually met a couple ppl from NYLC at the Holocaust museum.

well you can go online and do more research about NYLC. you can go to http://www.cylc.org i believe.

Yeah, I was nominated too (for NYLC)... Is it just a general alumni thing, or did I fill out somthing? *confusion*... I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything to stand out (except get the scholarship for my session). But I think I might go. My mom is all "oh, I'm so proud of you" like she was when I was nominated for NYLF. Roll Eyes

i got the packet today (the big one). they actually have alumni frm the schools we all go to.
i recognize all the names. one a football player, i think defensive line(?) he grad in 04. another guy i knew b/c of FCA and my mom thought he was nice and whatnot (although they never talked), but he helped out ppl etc. another guy grad in 05 went (found out that he work(s/ed)at hooters, which is funny b/c he is soooo conservative. one of the other guys is a sr this yr.
i believe almost all, but 1 are/were in IB. go smart ppl.
i just might be the first girl on the list, i dont know. it costs money and im also thinking about ppl-ppl (my friend might be going also) which is close to 5k. and i just went to NYLF and the Bahamas, sooooo maybe i wont be able to go.

well i seem to have written a lot, but yeah, just came back frm 1st day of school (have to ride mid school bus frm a diff school so i can get home. i live in the grafton area, the IB school is at York High so they dont have buses to take me home frm York).
we are in "learning cottages" aka trailers for about close to 1 1/2 yrs. we have no lockers but most of the teachers will give us a book to take home for hmwk, while they have a class set so we dont need to bring the books.
my bio book is about 1200 pgs long and its really heavy, we only have 9 ppl in our class and its all girls. its an IB class.

well gotta stop so i can do homework and get ready for night school (gov school intro to computer programing).

I got the NYLC one, but not People to People. I'm kind of interested in politics, but I don't think I'll go because I think the letter said it would be in spring, which means during the school year, and since I'm a Junior in high school this year, I'm very, very, very busy. (Already suffering from sever sleep-deprivation from staying up late all night for homework.)
