Question:
So I've been reading the other posts and I've noticed that almost everyone who has written in has mentioned that they are in band, so I thought I'd start this topic specifically for people who are in band (or wish they were. Personally, I really enjoy being in marching band- I play the flute. Despite all the hard work that we (the band) put into out show, we all enjoy participating in band. Anyway, my poll question is: What kind of instrument do you play? (If you play more than one, just pick the one you like the best- or vote twice!)

Choices:
Flute/Clarinet
Saxophone (Alto, Bari, Tenor...)
Trumpet/Trombone
Percussion
Tuba/French Horn

Glad to see more musicians going to NYLF this year! I was the only musician in my group so I couldn't talk about music for a week, and that killed me lol.

I'm Hannah, and I play flute too! I play in concert and marching band. It's the best instrument out there... And I totally agree about the family thing. It completely helps the transition into high school and you meet some of your best friends there.

Hey! I'm the principle Trombone in my concert and jazz band and I play in the pep band for fun (and extra credit!) We don't have an official marching band, our concert band marches in the memorial day parades. Its funny to see a concert band march lol
