heey yoou guuys,
i was just wonderin what yall did for the grp competitions and which grp won. for the DC June session the Picotte grp won but hey yeah w/e our grp made fun of another grp. i was in the williams grp and we made fun of the pasteur (?) grp (harris'). his grp would always mess up on bus count and would say "We love you Harris!!" they were very loud. well just wondering. a lot of grps made fun w/ FA Andy (our paparazzi). big bowtie. my friend scott (wearing a paper bowtie that was really big) said "his bowtie brings all the girls to the yard." love all yall jessica aka gunney "Dali's Painting The Persistance of Memory is the Manipulation of Memory" excerpt from Memory:Manipulation of Paintings ~me~ |

haha!! that's funny b/c i was at d.c. july 17-26 at georgetown, and i was in the pasteur group and we kept saying "we love you harris!" all the time too...yea sometimes we'd mess up on the bus count...lol...and yea one of the groups made fun of the Andy too...so anyways, on to our spirit comp plan:
we split up into 3 groups: 2 groups of girls and 1 group of guys -- we all were wearing our NYLF MED shirts...w/ our bus # on the back...the guys were wearing their button down professional shirts over their NYLF shirts...on the fronts of the NYLF shirts they had W-E-heart-H-A-R-R-I-S (one letter for each guy) ... so we started up on the stage on either sides, and sang the traditional song "we are the pasteurs, the mighty mighty pasteurs, everywhere we goooo ppl wanna knoww...." and so on ... then the 2 groups (we were lined up boy-girl-boy-girl) walked in a line, and we ended up having the group of guys in between the 2 groups of girls; then one guy who we made to be Harris, our FA....walked onto the stage-- we were making fun of Harris b/c he was always late to our MED sessions and site visits and stuff...so Ross (the guy pretending to be Harris) said some stuff in a NY accent (since Harris is frm NY) about LaSonia (one of the other FA's who we always thought Harris had a crush on)...the last thing "harris"/Ross said was "so, hows everyone feeling?" (or something along those lines)...and teh entire group of us said: "Well Harris..." -- on goes the cd player and before you know it missy elliot's "lose control" is blasting on teh speakers...it was supposed to be a response to what harris/ross asked us...you know how the song starts out as "MUSIC MAKE YOU LOSE CONTROL, MUSIC MAKE YOU LOSE CONTROL"...and then it goes on a downbeat, and the guys opened up their button downs, to show the audience the WE (heart) HARRIS! on their shirts...and then from their we just started dancing and stuff...and the guys were swingin around their shirts above their heads and it was good fun...hehe...our spirit plan basically revolved around harris...he really was the best FA -- since he was the youngest...haha... it was sooo funny how he was totally clueless half the time...but he DID get pissed off at us once...but yea...good times.... |

yalls is funny. i had such a fun time w/ the grp com.
but by the end, it got really annoying. everyone was doing the same thing over and over "N-Y-L-F" but there was a hilarious one. one of the guys i met acted like Hitler and ordered everyone to sit on the bus and so on. i really cant remember all of it but everyone was laughing. oh yeah, during all of these things i would cheer for ppl that i knew(mostly guys). the grl sitting nxt to me asked if i knew everyone. but um no i didnt i just made it like i did (im good w/ names @ times). remembering all those good times...<daydreams> "Dali's Painting The Persistance of Memory is the Manipulation of Memory" excerpt from Memory:Manipulation of Paintings ~me~ |
