Hey everyone!

I just wanted to get to know some people before we get to DC this Feb, and I figured this would be the best way.

My name is Laura, and I'm from just outside of Boston.

Feel free to find me on facebook so we can get to know each other a bit before we go:

Hm. I'm a huge hockey fan- The Boston College Eagles and the Edmonton Oilers are my teams, followed closely by the Bruins. (Don't ask how a girl from Boston ends up rooting for a team in Edmonton-I'm not really sure how that happened Smile ). I love languages: I speak Spanish and am learning Russian. I play French horn. And that's pretty much it.

I like languages too! I take French and sing in Italian (sadly I have no clue what I'm singing) Other than that i'm obsessed with almost any Broadway music and I'm a bookworm.

right now i'm sort of in a Sweeney Todd mode. I've heard of Guys and Dolls but never really heard the music or anything. So where are you guys staying in DC? I'm in the 4-H place.

Hey everyone, I'm Luke in Rochester MN. I play French Horn among other things and I love to speak German. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with their Site Preferences Form.

Well, we are supposed to send that in "two weeks before the forum", but I can't find any way of submitting it (actually, I can't find the form in the first place!) and we're supposed to get an email that "clarifies" what we are supposed to do, but they also said that we'd be able to submit on, what, the 4th? I sent in a question a while back but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Now I'm paranoid that they didn't get the message...

I read in my email we were supposed to get the form one month before our arrival date... "Approximately one month before your arrival date, you will receive a notification email providing you the exact date and time the online site selection email will be sent to you." So we should be getting and email about selecting our sites fairly soon, if I understand it right. Or at least I dearly hope so.

Great. I'm a little surprised that they didn't put that "one month before your arrival date" in the informational packet. Would have made a lot more sense. Anyone been looking at the primaries lately?
