Yep, Ill be there...I cant wait actually.
Heres a little bit about me: Im 15 (16 in October), and I will be a junior this year. I live in NJ and want to enter the Coast Guard ACademy or the Merchant Marine Academy after highschool. From there and after I serve, I want to apply to the FBI as a linguist or undercover agent.I also wanted to join a JROTC program but my school is to small to hold one.

I'm also 15 (16 in November), but I will be a sophomore. I live Nebraska. I want to go to a good medical school and become an emergency room doctor.

alright, ive been waiting too long for people to reply to my thread lol, so ill just hop into this one.

JROTC is pretty cool. There are a lot of cool oppurtunities for stuff, like drill teams and PT competitions. When you're a senior and in charge, the responsibility and command is pretty awesome (I cant wait). The classes though, depend on your teachers i guess. For me, they're a bore. Lets just say that 30 years in the army isnt really a teaching degree, if you catch my drift

Coming from Nebraska isn't too bad. Its only like a 6 hour flight. I went with my dad to WDC a few years ago so I cant wait to go back.

I know what that is like, Im an Air force brat so I know a lot about people who think they know everything because they've been in the military for so long...but I cant wait actually because I want to be in the military.

Well Ive actually wanted to start but my mom has absolutely refused any of my attempts to study because of the summer reading I have to do for school. I have a bunch of stuff for AP history and then I have to watch a movie and read 2 books for English III Honors on top of that.

What airlines is everyone taking to get to WDC? Did any of you use the Omega World Travel like it recommended in the letter? Just wondering

I know i'm on another week but....We tried calling Omega World Travel, but we were put on hold for about 15 minutes, so we lined up a flight American Airlines for a really good price.

ha, seems like it, just you, me and, nancy. We should definitely meet up. Oh and to quote other people: copy what you want to quote, click the quotation marks on the tool bar next to message and then paste what you're quoting inside the box things, they look like this:

Hey everyone! I'm Trung Nguyen, 16 [17 in a few weeks], checking in for the 10/2 - 10/7 session. Can't wait to meet everybody!

I'm actually thinking about switching to a later session though due to academics and such. Anyone know if there's a fee in switching to another week?
