I think its funny most of us want to go into the military. I start leadership school on Saturday then its over on Wednesday then i hjave drum and bugle corps camp then school starts on the 27th but i cant wait cause i miss my friends and then i wont be soo bored.

LOL, yes I am. But I do have to say I love having connections. My granddad used to work at my school and this guy graduated from there and then went into the Army. This guy just recently was promoted and he know works in the Pentegon. I sent him an email about 15 minutes ago and we have talked and he works in the Joint Chief of Staffs and he is going to help me with studying up on national security strategies. He is really cool, ill have to share what he gets me with you guys while we are there.

you better shelby lol. Yeah, my mom works at the WArfare Center on the Air Force base here and shes going to introduce me to and Instuctor in Air Force Special Ops, and then my neighbors and Fbi agent so I talk to him and his partner all the time.

Yea I will as long as we all share our info. im getting 2 of the books probably tomorrow.

So, I am just about to enter my last and final week of summer vaca. I have to admit that the thought is slightly depressing. My books still haven't arrived, I'm hoping they'll be here soon. Kathryn, it's cool that your neighbors are FBI. My Aunt and Uncle are CIA, but I don't get to talk to them much so I'm not really sure what they do

I technically still have two weeks but i have leadership school where i get up at 5 do PT for an hour then have breakfast then do briefs and that sorta stuff and also drill and thats for 4 days and afta that i have band camp where i am lagistics officer and do almost everything and we have to march most of the time for 4 days then school starts. oohh well.

Hi i'm Lauren. i'm gonna be 16 in december and i live in south carolina. i'm in 10th grade...um my dad was a senior chief in the navy for 20 years and i want to follow in his footsteps by flying jets on aircraft carriers. but then i want to go into politics. oh and my avatar thing isnt me. it's my boyfriend austin who just died july 1st while he was on a mission trip in mexico...

Hi Lauren, thats cool you want to go into the navy, I do too. I think you are really going to like some of the others in our session we all have been talking for a few weeks now. I am sorry to hear about your loss though.

Welcome to the group Lauren (wow that sounds cheesy)! And Shelby, I just have to say that dang you do a lot!! All that just BEFORE school starts? To think I thought Pre-Planning Week was tough on SGA...

Yea well Leadership SChool is a choice and you dont have to do but i like having a leadership job in my squad. and band camp is mandatory for drum and bugle corps and i do lagistics so i have to be there and longer than everyone else too.

That is a lot, I know how you feel though Sehlby. Im drum major for my school marching band so I have a lot to do and we have band camp this week...which is exhausting to say the least. And could we meet at like 3:45 pm East coast time? Im not sure if I have friday off or not...

Ummm, 3:45 is fine with me. I should be home. If everyone was to send a mesage to a single person than we can all get together bout it. i just think that would be safer than talking here where guests can long on.

oohh year next year i will be drum major and i will be the first female drum major cause this is only the 3rd year for girls at my school and this past year was our first for graduating girls from my school cause you have to be there in your junior year to be a senior.

Thats cool, I love being drum major, its a lot of stress for a junior though because the seniors think they're too cool to listen but Ill get them to listen eventually...

haha, in your dreams Lauren, Air force is the best ever! lol jk seriously, the navy is cool too, I just dont like the idea of being out to sea for six months at a time. Im all Coast Guard Academy..piloting a helicopter or something.
