I was talking to my principal about the trip and he wants to make it a big deal. Why, I don't know, but its probably b/c most of the people in my town haven't been anywhere.

Yep, this trip counts as an excused absence for me because its academic related..and my guidance counselors love me lol. I wish I had my license, I dont even turn 16 till October 19...

as for the excused absence... I can get that..then again, I have only 3 periods at school. I have work experience (thats why I have 3 periods). It's the getting off work thats the problem....
