it's nice to talk to everyone~ I'm flying from LAX, but I was just wondering, if we have to be looking into careers in the army to go to this forum only because I'm interested in a completely different job field rather than the army or something else.....I'm a little worried now...

Uhh Well I'm not really looking for a military job either...so ya... x.x

I think that they just say something like going there to see if you're interested in those types of careers. And if you don't choose those careers in the end you still have experience, or something along that line. So I don't think you have to be looking into those careers to go.

It depends on what careers your referring to. If you are referring to the military, of course not. The National Secruity forum, in my opinion, is really for people who are intrested in the CIA, FBI, etc. Notice, on the tours list, basically everything listed on there are different careers you can go into, yet there are still some military choices (Andrews Airforce Base, etc). So for you, there is really no reason to worry. I mentioned uniforms cause I'm in JROTC and was wondering if anyone else planned to wear theirs. So anyway, what career field do you have in mind?

I don't have a uniform but wish I did. On the other hand I'm pretty nerdy so if I did have a uniform it would probably consist of a lab coat and glasses so I can do with out Smile Anyone flying out of the dallas airport? Or landing in the regan dc airprot? I hate flying alone. Are you all ready with the research assignments? Sorry...I ask a lot of questions.

Are you from Cali BC126? LAX airport sounds familiar. And I don't remember anything about a writing assignment...I've just been reading up on the topics. I just hope there isn't a quiz or anything.

So how do you think we're gonna be paired up? This is a huge group so are we gonna stick together or what? Anyone know how to find out who our room mate is if we have one?

gidget, that is a question you should be asking the kids from oct 2-7 session, they can tell you all about it. im pretty sure alphabetical order may had something to do with it, cause i think we are in groups of + or - 25. and i betcha that we will be informed of our roomates as we arrive.. i heard the rooms are quite nice, housing 4.. with 2 beds, a cot, tv, bathroom n desk.. maybe like a typical hotel.. but you wont spend that much time in your room either. also, get ready for you people who need beauty sleep.. the schedule usually is wake up at about 0530 or 0600 and bed at about 0030 or 0100.
