Well I'll already be bringing a backpack on the trip. So if we need something like that I'll just empty it out and use it.

I want to look for a book bag, but there's not much time. So I might just bring a backpack.

On the board for questions for alumni, they said we only need close-toe/heel shoes on the site visits. Actually, some of them said they had to wear them to MED sessions and/or to speeches/presentations/etc. So I guess we might need to wear them more than three times. But as long as we don't always have to wear them, it won't be too bad.

So I just went and asked under the Alumni section about the backpack thing. One response was that it was a good idea? So I'll see what else we get out of them.

On the other hand, it's been raining a lot here..so you might want an umbrella just in case it continues into next week.

2 days..practically. Big Grin

"Yeah, you need a backpack. They give you a big folder and a couple of books to carry around. You'll also be carrying around money, maybe an umbrella (important in most places) and who knows what else. You'll want it for site visits and sight seeing too, trust me" <<from monarchsfan16 or something like that in the alumni section...

An umbrella probably would be good. It's rained here nearly every day for the past week or so, and sometimes it has been raining hard. It looks like it's going to rain again today, actually, and there's supposed to be a 30-40% rain chance Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (I'm not sure about that, because I only have a five-day forecast).

And I thought you'd all be interested in hearing that the final schedule has been posted for us!

To get to the schedule, go to the main page, click on schedules, log in, and choose the session.

Body Worlds 3 is an exhibit of real human bodies preserved using plastination, or something like that. It's really interesting.

I'm going to try to get to the forum around 3.

I can't wait until tomorrow! Big Grin

Yayyyy. It's Tomorrow Big Grin

I've seen Body Worlds twice, once in Chicago, and another time in Tampa. It is AMAZING. The chicago exhibit had a few more things than the Tampa one, but I could have stayed in each for like, 10 hours. It's such a great experience, everything is real human body parts, skeletons, muscles, veins, skin, etc.

I'm supposed to be arriving in Houston at 1:45. Smile

Okay, what's Moody Gardens?

Ahhhhh, I'm so psyched. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
