Hi Hillary, your not the only person who doesn't know for sure whether they're going to pursue a career in medicine. I'm not sure if I will go into the medical field, but I'm going to the forum to see if it will be something I would like to do. What session are you going to?

I'm interested in medicine and science, just helping people, but I don't know if I'd be able to major as Pre-Med and then med school... its just a lot.

Though Hillary, technically you don't have to be a doctor that deals with life and death situation. There are many options open in the medical field that aren't Emergency Room doctors or cancer, etc. Pediatrics, you could specialize in Allergies or something- you could become a Bioengineer. I guess that's why we're all going to the conference, to figure out what job would be the best for us

o lol that's just the nickname for my town. It's really called Chesterton. Yea it's a pretty small town. You have to be pretty creative to have fun here, but luckily we're near bigger towns and cities. It's not so small that I would kno everyone's names tho. Have u thought what u would do if u didn't go into medicine?

I travel a lot so I've been all of over the US and some other countries...I've been to Cali 4 times It's nice there, but i feel that the west coast has a totally different vibe than the midwest. It's not bad or nething just different than what im used to. Did you find things in Illinois a slight bit different?
