I want to be a pediatric physical therapist. I wanted to be an OB/GYN though for the longest time.

I think an OB/GYN or work with ppl. who have AIDS/HIV, or both, or specialize in womens medicine.

Yeah, I think it'd probably be pretty difficult hearing "you can't save 'em all" or something, even when it's true.

Last year I was in a psychology class, and I absolutely feel in love with it. So I'm hoping to go into the psychiatry field with either dealing with criminals or the really really crazy people, who would be in mental wards and such. And if that does not work, an anesthesiologist would also be good.

I shadowed an ER doctor because I thought that would be cool but it wasn't that great. Now I'm thinking psychiatry or sports medicine or oncology. My dad's a nephrologist, and I officialy decided I'd kill myself if I had to do what he does. lol

i definitly want to be a surgeon. most likely a cardiac surgeon, but i tend to change my mind about what i want to be when i grow up sometimes. so atleast now i know i for sure want to go into the medical field. i really like the heart though, so yea... oh about the comment made on telling a faimly a loved one of theirs has died... i would feel horrible too, but you really can't save them all... it's just too difficult becuase everyone has a different case no matter what... so really its just something that i think all people in the medical field should just accept and deal with. but i have the same thoughts about how horrible it would feel to tell a family that, and then to think "it was MY fault"... u know? -gina "dance like no one's watching" CAGETTES DANCE TEAM 2006-07!! How do you decide what you like? Has anyone done anything special in school, or is it just inherent?

I guess that I have always loved children, and would love to work with them. I am also very close to my pediatrician, and have been going to her since I was little. I want to develop a relationship with someone, as opposed to seeing them for a one-time thing.

I want to be an oncologist. My mom's a pediatrician, and I knew from a young age that I didn't want to become a pediatrician. Perhaps it's partially inherent, but I think a lot of kids are turned off by their parent's profession...

I honestly have no idea what I want to do. I'm pretty sure I want to be in the medical field, and I'm starting to lean toward being a vet. But I'm not sure. I don't know if I could handle putting an animal to sleep.
