yeah i was reading about doctors without borders a long time ago and ever since then i've wanted to do that.

Well, I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and i've had it since I was 8 or 9, I guess that's about half my life. I was reading an article in the Arthritis Today magazine about a boy with severe JRA. It mentioned how there are very few pediatric rheumatologists in the country. There are only like 10 total. This little boy had to fly from home everytime he had a doctor's appointment! I thought about being that because I know I want to work with kids and I would be able to personally sympathize with my patients. I think it would be an interesting field to enter and I would enjoy it very much.

I want to be NeuroSurgeon

It would be so cool if we got to see DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) or a hemispherectomy where they remove half the brain!!!!!!!! Im such a nerd lol

i doubt it....

Definitely doubtable... but not improbable. Hospitals are hospitals, you never know what is going go show up.

I was talking to someone who went to Houston last year and they got to see a surgery. It kinda depends on the hospital.

I'm interested in becoming an orthopedic surgeon dealing primary with athletes if possible.

I want to be an engineer, idk why im going to nylf med...? jk

Much rather be an oncologist, or maybe a dosimetrist?

I'm intersted in being an Anesthesiologist, but my dream job would be to work as a Research Virologist at the CDC in Atlanta!

i'm fasinated by the brain and how the body tricks doctors. i also love kids so i dont really know what field i'll go into. but i was thinking about immunology

or id go into diognostics. has anyone here ever seen the show House? my dream job would be his job

I'm really interested i becoming an Orthopaedic surgeon, also. If that doesn't work out, Sports Medicine would be my next choice.

i think i want to do medical research..probably in oncology

i love house too. and i actually want to be a doctor and specialize in infectious diseases. somewhat along the lines of what house does.
i love pathology and i actually like orthopaedic work too. but i would rather do pathology things.

well after NYLF i switched from BME to being internal or emergency medicine

definitely pediatrics i love kids and working with them!

I know pediatrics for sure but not sure what field... maybe neonatology(premature babies) stuff like that

this is a little weired becuase no one posed about it. Emergency/trama surgery. i want to go to school and besome a general surgon. then i will do a 2 year fellowship. after that i will advance into trama/ emergency surgery. i know it is about 13 years of my life in school. but its well worth it. you ever know what you will be getting next. and you have to enjot the challenege!!!
