I've only got one friend going but I'm actually not that nervous. Everyone I've talked to so far seems awesome and I can't wait to go!!!!

The only thing I'm nervous about is not knowing what's being talked about. I have yet to go shopping. At all. And its coming up so soon!!!!

It's gonna pretty sweet! I can't wait! I am so excited! The only thing I'm nervous about is flying there cause I've got a long plane ride and I don't like planes. Oh well! I can't believe it's only 3 weeks away! I still have so much shopping to do...

The more I read the different posts, the more excited I get! I think I'm going to be completely devastated to leave once I get there. I don't think I will like dorm life though. . . Razz

I think I'm going to be really sad too! From what I hear, we spend a lot of time with our groups so I'll probably become really attached to the people in my group and cry like a baby when it's time to leave! I don't think I'm going to like the bathroom situation in the dorms because if they're gross and mildewy I'll probably die. I hope I end up with a really cool roommate though! I'm pretty easy to get along with though so it shouldn't be too bad... I hope anyway.

Some people are staying in hotels! I want to stay in a hotel! I'm a big fan. I wonder what the food will be like as well. I'm a big fan of food also. So how did everyone find out about this program?

Ah, dorms wont be that bad, its just ten days. I can survive anything if its only for ten days. Hotels would be nice though... Oh well, that's the least of my worries. I'm sure it will awesome! I feel sorry for my roommate though, I'll admit it, I'm a slob lol.

The dorms at ASU are 1 bathroom per every 4 students, which sounds decent. However, since Georgetown is over a century older than ASU, I'm not expecting that. I've seen pics of the dorms at Georgetown though and they look nice enough. While I'm on the subject, do we need to bring sheets and stuff for the bed? I never travel w/o my pillow so that'll be coming w/ me for sure. This is going to sound pretty pathetic, but I'm bring water bottles and granola bars with me in case I need a snack or something, because that's what I do at school so I'll do the same in DC! As for hearing about the program, there was an announcement at school and I went to the office and signed up for info and here I am today. This post turned out longer than I expected so I'll stop now! ttyl!

Don't stress Chelsey, I'm probably going to bring food and water too. I am a bit picky about food. Won't it be funny to see what we all look like in person?

It'll be interesting to arrive on the 1st day and see a ton of kids checking in with heaps of luggage (in my case anyway lol). I can just picture myself in the airport dragging a huge suitcase that is just about as tall as I am, a carry-on, and a garment bag. Oh yeah... It's gonna be a hoot lol!

Totally! I do believe I will have an excess of luggage as well. My motto: Better safe than sorry. Is anyone NOT worried about too much stuff?

I don't know about bathrooms but I think there are 2-3 people in the dorms for Georgetown. I think I'll bring sheets... when I went to camp a few years ago we had to bring sheets, and when you go to college you bring your own sheets so just assuming... and its better to be safe than sorry. Hence why I will have so much crap. My poor roommate- not only am I a slob, but I'm going to take up like 3/4 of the room!

Liz, I better not be your roommate because my stuff is going to take up 3/4 of the room too and at that rate, we'll be out of places to put stuff lol! I always over pack. I'm horrible. I'll probably have like 50 some outfits. I'm not kidding either. I'll plan on bringing sheets and blankets then... I'll be more comfortable that way anyway. Tell us a little about yourself bridgette!

You do not need your own sheets. They provide you with sheets, pillows, blanket and towels
