Hey Ryan! There's a dinner cruise on the last night of the forum. It's a farewell type thing. It's in the sample scheduele thingy on the website. It's semi-formal, so the girls are wearing dresses. I'm not really sure what the guys are going to wear, but I would assume black pants and a collared shirt or something. Maybe what you'd wear to a semi-formal dance at school like homecoming. I'm coming from Arizona all by myself too, and I know that pretty much everyone else on the message board is coming w/o friends (except for Liz and Em). Hope that helped a litte!
Yeah thanks it did. I cant believe that this trip is on Sat. It seems like I was just trying to get my parents to pay the money and let me go. I am ready for the DC weather it is really hot down here and very humid. It is like 96 degrees and it just rained yesterday so it is steaming outside right now. Well Ill ttyl -Ryan

It's 115 here! I know, I know... It's a dry heat. I'll tell you what though, 115 degrees is still 115 degrees. I'd give an arm and leg for rain here right now! That would be awesome! 3 days people! Yay!

Mahaha I love sarcasm...unfortunately sometimes I make some people *cough a kid that used to like me cough* uncomfortable ah well
I wonder what we do at the social things, they sound very interesting. My friend claims they are used to meeting boys. I told her they are for meeting "people" but if they happen to be boys I'm not complaining. Anyways I'm so excited!!

I'm sarcastic too! I agree Qing, some people can't tell if I'm kidding or not. But I always am teasing as opposed to being mean, so don't worry! Welcome Ryan! In case Addison doesn't come on, he does play violin. For four hours. He goes to Julliard. ha ha ha What do you play Ryan? I play piano but my teachers have moved away so I no longer have lessons. I do love music though. Anyone else play anything?

Most of the forum we only get to hang out with our MED group.. the socials are meant for the 300 rest of us to meet... and the girls scout the guys and the guys scout the girls, etc. etc.

Well Julliard that is impressive. I think I am ok but I could probably never get into Julliard. Anyway right now Im playing clarinet and piano. In the past I have played umm trumpet, tuba, baritone, and french horn. I finally came to rest on clarinet and that is probably where Ill stay.

It sounds like they mix the socials up though. They have a t-shirt making social, and other socials that I can't remember right now. I don't really want to look at the schedule right now. Is anyone bringing a laptop? I don't know if I should or not... I'll probably end up taking it for easy access to a computer.
Wow you're pretty impressive yourself Ryan! Do you want to pursue music as a career? Chelsey- I'm not bringing a computer because I was under the impression that we weren't going to have that much downtime. Or room. LOL
I dont think so. I might minor in music but i am def majoring in medicine. But thanks on the compliment. Yeah I wasnt gonna bring my laptop either. I was for the easy access and all but I decided it just be something else to carry through the airport so I decided not to. Yeah Addison I will and we are going to have to meet at the forum some how. But out of 300 kids it might be hard. But I'll try and find you.

Im not totally sure yet but probably either surgery or pediatrics. But im not sure yet. I thought about doing pediatric surgery. You know to put the 2 together, but I dont think I could do surgery on a little kid. But I have been leaning more towards pediatrics. Less intern time too.

HOLY CATS!!!!!!! You play in Julliard Addison!! Do you happen to know a girl called Libby(Elizabeth) Fayette *or however she spells it*, she's graduating this year. Unfortunately I seek little future for my piano playing since I'm so involved with swimming.

I'm bringing my laptop, but I'll definetly be locking the dorm door... its easier to charge my ipod and just keep in contact with my friend who's in italy.

Liz- You might want to lock your luggage too, just in case. Has anyone been doing any special prep for this? Or just going by what they know usually? I am a bit worried about being behind the curve.
I haven't. We were supposed to keep up to date for the news I think but I haven't. Thanks Chrissy, I'll make sure to have it pretty well locked up cause that would suck...
