I wanted to go to the CIA, but it wasn't an option... so I went with my second choice, the geospatial intelligence agency and the embassy.
I'm from NY, Long Island... it's freezing out right now, but we're used to it.

Yeah I wanted to go to the CIA too; I ended up picking the Pentagon & Spy Museum. We've been out of school for the past 2 days due to the weather. I don't think that it is that bad.(only like 20- 40) But I guess us North Carolinians aren't used to it.

Yeah, that's probably it. I think if it had been available and just filled up it would've still shown up... I didn't manage to get to a computer till a bit later in the day and I def remember there being one that said it was full already.

Bit random, but does anyone know if we're allowed to bring our laptops with us? I mean to leave in the room, apparently I'm supposed to write a paper that week...

Ummm I believe you can, but from what I've heard, you won't have time to do anything...they keep you constantly busy, so I don't think you will have time to write a paper

I'm having the same problems, with my make up work. IDK when I'll be able to do it. I'm asking all of my teachers for it before we go. So I can brace myself.

I would think we can bring a laptop. I am planning on it. I have so much work and I am also on vacation the week after so I kind of want to have it.

And I think you can bring a laptop. I'm on winter break next week too so I won't have to miss any school. I don't think I'd be able to go if I had to miss school because we have 8 classes (4 each day) so I'd have a TON to make up. But my teachers have given out a lot of homework over break too, and I'm going to try to get that done this weekend.

Does anyone know what we're supposed to do with the Academic preparation packet? I'm going to look over it this weekend.
