hey im laura, and i was just wondering what kinds of things you's like. I think this would allow us to get to know eachother better before we go.

So i'll start...

My name is Laura and I am a junior in highschool. I live in New Jersey. I play softball, I run track (pole-vaulting/sprinting), and I am in Percussion (I've been playing since 4th grade!).

Hey guys!

I'm Liz, and I'm attending DC Session 2. I'm a junior in High School in a suburb of Madison, WI. I ride and show horses competitively across the country, play flute(going on 6 years), sing, and am very involved in theatre. I also am a fan of biking, yet I spend most of my time doing chem homework. haha.

Hey everyone

I'm Robert. I'm a senior in high school in good old Orange County California. I'm going to UC Davis next year. I run Cross Country and Track. I like to go fishing, paintball, look at cars, explore the mountains with friends, and take alot of extracurricular medical based classes (just took my EMT class final exam tonight) as I am heavily interested in medicine. I am also an Eagle Scout and am active in alot of community service activities.

Laura: Pole vaulting is crazy! Haha way to go though :]

Go Navy! UC Davis '12!!

Hey! my name is Jordan. I am 16, I am a sophmore in high school but I could have been a junior had my birthday not been so late.

I sing and dance in my schools ensemble which is the highest musical honor besides the drumline.

I can't wait for the dance at LA July 20-29 when I go! =]

Hi. I'm Nicole. I'm 16 and a cheerleader at my high school in Southern California. I'm not the typical cheerleader type at all. I love spending time with my alpacas (llama like animals), Paco and Nacho. I'm a trapeze artist as well. I'm attending the San Francisco Session Two forum and can't wait!

Hi I'm Megan. I'll be 17 in March. I'm a junior in high school. I live in the small town of Hawthorne, New Jersey. I've played a multitude of sports with varying degrees of success since I was little. Lately, I've been considering playing tennis for my school next year. I love sports, whether it's watching them or playing them. I've also just gotten into NHS and Italian NHS. I like being with my friends, and usually I can have fun with anyone. I can't wait for NYLF Philly(session 1). I'm hoping it'll help me narrow down what I really want to do within the medical or science fields. But I really can't wait to meet a bunch of new people - my two best friends went last year and I know it's going to be really fun, even if I'm all on my own.

Big transition to go from dance to lacrosse. I love lacrosse, watching that is. I would more than likely play though, if it was offered in my area.

I'm 15 and a sophomore at William Mason High School in Mason, which is a suburb a few minutes North of Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm very involved in my school's Student Government, and have been since I was in 3rd grade. It pretty much takes up almost all of my free time now, keeping me from getting involved in much else. I will actually be missing a few StuGo meetings while I'm at NYLF this summer, but I do make time for Mu Alpha Theta and the German Club though, and hope to be accepted into NHS later this year. I am also a Tennis aficionado, and want to try out for the school team, but it seems to have become another casualty of my involvement in StuGo.

lacrosse is like a club at my school and not funded by the athletic department and so if you really want it at yours its possible! find a coach, gather enough people, collect dues, and get in touch with the lacrosse association to figure out what else is needed... We are actually trying to build a feild hockey team at my school now. With passion and drive anything is obtainable! haha
