Wow, everyone sounds so different and diverse! It's kinda cool. haha. I'm a junior at Monta Vista High (which btw, is SUUUUPER asian). I'm attending LA session1.
&OMG! Chelsea, I'm on my school's winterguard too! I'm co-captain this year <3 and I love it! Last year we went to WGI [haha, kinda failed. but it was fun) and seriously, it's something I won't ever forget.
Uhm. Another thing is I can't really dance, but I somehow got a dance solo in our show this year. haha. No dance experience for the win!

Hey, I'm a sophomore in high school. I've been playing piano for 11 years now. It's my favorite hobby. I even go back to accompany my middle school's 7th and 8th grade chorus or open up the concert for them. I used to play flute for concert band (7th-9th grade). I'm into a lot of sports but my favorite is soccer. I used to play for AYSO but because of school I don't have time anymore so I'm a volunteer youth referee. I'm hoping to go to UNC at Chapel Hill to become a pediatric orthodontist. I'll be attending Washington, D.C. for the first session.

Hey! I'm a sophomore at Klahowya Secondary School in Seabeck, WA...far far away from DC where I'll be attending Session 1...I'm 15 and I play piano and violin. I love to play sports especially soccer, volleyball, and track. I am involved in our schools sports medicine program and have been since 8th grade. I'm also part of FCA,Honor Society, Math Club, Science Club, and Knowledge Bowl...I'll admit i'm a nerd, but I love it!

My name is Meleigh and I live in a mining town in Nevada. If you have been on I-80 through Nevada you have probably gone through it. I go to Elko High School. I am involved in Marching Band (I play trumpet) which I absolutely love. My goal is to be drum major and next year we are supposed to go to the Inaugural Parade which would totally rock. I also am on Student Council and I do Forensics which is fun. 4-H is also a really big thing around here and I am president of the biggest club in the county as well as the county VP so that is pretty awesome. Over Thanksgiving I went to Atlanta for National 4-H Congress and that was pretty sweet.I also do a lot of things with church and one of my favorite places in the world is Cowboy's Rest Christian Camp. They offered me a job there this summer which I may or may not take because of NYLF. I also go hang out at the hospital a ton because my mom is a CNM and the hospital is better than her office (she was actually the first civilian CNM in NV). I love to travel and D.C. is one of my favorite places so this summer should be amazing.That's all for now

I'm 16 and a sophomore at The Science Academy, which is a technology magnet school in South Texas. I love it, but it doesn't have band or swimming which i love equally, which really sucks. Otherwise, I'm in the newspaper club, iVIVA! (a medical program at the school/local library), NHSS, and hopefully I'll be accepted into the decathlon 2008-09 team. Otherwise, my hobbies are flute and piano and reading... I'm fun, I know. Anybody else coming from South Texas?

Soccer is my life: I am on a competitive traveling soccer team in the fall and I am on my high school varsity team in the spring. I am going to Houston in July--i will turn 16 while I am there!!!

I'm Kaitlyn and I'm 15 and a sophomore. I'm kind of a baby for my grade, pretty much the youngest of all my friends. I play field hockey, swim, and run track. I feel bad for the people without field hockey and lacrosse teams, they are such great sports! I don't play lacrosse for school but have played club for a while, it's a really fun sport. I also love the beach, which luckily is only 10 minutes away!
