Hi, I'm Linda from NJ. (wow there are a lot of us here -.-) I like drawing and watching anime and reading. marching band is awesome too. xD I'll be going to Philly sess 2 this summer, and its my first time going to NYLF.
Im 16, and a sophomore. i live in Riverside, California. I like to play football, but i dont play for school, cause of too much stress with classes and work. If anyone is from CA hit me up
Hi I'm Courtney from Ohio. I polevault too! (Laura, Jess) annddd I play tennis and I swim. and i love football (we've got a powderpuff game every year before homecoming and its awesome!) haha i guess i'm kind of a sports freak. Anyways I'm attending Philly Session 3. Anyone else hit me up
hey i'm stephanie from North Carolina. Laura, Jess, and Courtney - i don't pole vault but i do run track and cheer at my school, but is it hard to pole vault? i've always wondered because i don't do it.
Hi Stephanie! Well I think its different for everyone. I mean Yes it's hard but it depends on what heighth. I could get over 8 ft with my eyes closed but after that I really have to work at it. and its alot harder for girls than it is for boys because most girls (myself included) have a harder time getting completely vertical. But if your asking because you want to try it, then you def. should because its soo much fun!!
wow getting over 8 feet seems pretty impressive. and yea i've always thought it would be a cool thing to try and i have the 2nd heighest vertical leap at my school but becasue i'm so short i never really thought i would be able to get over it. but i think i might try it.
Yea 8'6 is my PR but i'd have 9' if I would just turn! lol, anyways my coach is way shorter than me like...5-1 maybe if even that...she vaulted 10 ft. in college. So don't NOT do it just because your short.
hey everyone, i'm sarah and i'm a junior in high school in the chicago suburbs. I play softball and love to ski. In school i'm in mathletes, scholastic bowl, MAO, and student council. i'm a total nerd, but that's ok. Liz: I'm a huge fan of biking too, its so cool to meet someone my age who's also a fan!
