diabolo- I searched for "diabolo" in YouTube, and it looks really cool! How long have you been doing it?
callen- Wow, you must enjoy dressage a lot to make such a commitment. How long have you been doing it? Samantha- Boston is sooo much better than Florida! The only bad thing is that Boston can be a lot colder than Florida. And if anyone who's never been to Boston before has any questions, feel free to ask. One piece of advice- if you want a good lunch, don't eat in Fanuil Hall, just walk a block or two away. Mary Rose- I have a lot of respect for softball players, considering I cant' play for my life! Talk to you all later! ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

So I looked up all the different medical schools and clinical visits that Boston attendees went to in previous years and there is definitely a great selection. I used US News and World Report for most of my information, because I find their many lists thorough and effective.
Top Research Medical Schools: Harvard University- #1 Boston University and Brown University- Tied for #34 Tufts University- #47 University of Massachusetts- #49 Top Primary Care Medical Schools: University of Massachusetts- #11 Harvard University- #13 Brown University- #27 And here is what I found on the clinical visit sites: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center: #10 Geriatrics #12 Endocrinology #14 Digestive Disorders #24 Respiratory Disorders #26 Cancer #31 Gynecology #33 Kidney Disease #35 Ear, nose, and throat #47 Heart #48 Urology Lahey Clinic: #25 Urology Massachusetts General Hospital: #1 Psychiatry #2 Endocrinology #3 Orthopedics #4 Respiratory Disorders #4 Geriatrics #4 Digestive Disorders #4 Neurology and neurosurgery #4 Kidney Disease #5 Heart #7 Rheumatology #10 Cancer #11 Urology #14 Gynecology #29 Ear, nose, and throat Brigham and Women's Hospital #1 Kidney Disease #2 Gynecology #3 Heart #6 Rheumatology #9 Endocrinology #10 Digestive Disorders #11 Orthopedics #13 Respiratory Disorders #17 Neurology and neurosurgery #20 Urology #22 Geriatrics #28 Cancer #28 Ear, nose, and throat Boston Medical Center: #41 Geriatrics New England Baptist Hospital: #17 Orthopedics Children's Hospital Boston #2 Pediatrics For More Information: http://www.usnews.com/ ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

Yeah, I have a feeling Boston is going to be AMAZING. I can't wait! And no worries about the cold, I live in Washington, it rains here ALL THE TIME, so I'm pretty used to the cold, haha.

Wow, so you're traveling very far!
And, I also noticed something that is completely irrelevant, but bothered me because I guess I'm pretty competitive- the Boston thread is no longer the highest rated! So, I think that everyone here should give it a 5 out of 5, just because! ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

Yeah, really far. Pretty much across the country. But I'm not incredibly worried, just a little bit. More excited than worried.

My parents totally wouldn't let me travel that far! But even if I had the choice, I would pick Boston anyway.
And we definitely have to trade cell numbers (in a private message, obviously, not just publicly here for the whole world to see) when it gets closer to the forum, so then we all can meet up. Oh, and do you mind telling us your first name, diabolo, just because I feel a little bit silly calling you that! ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

no..but a friend of mine has gone before..said it was boring..
hope it ain't, but even so..when I'm there it won't be xD |

|
2008 Med Attendee![]() |
Really? I don't see how anyone could think it's boring! Boston has all the amazing things that bigger cities, like NY, have and sooo much more! It's such a pretty city, with great New England food, such an interesting historical background, and even amazing shopping.
Boston has a little something for everyone. There's the Victorian, high-class Back Bay, the old-world North End, and so much more! Wow, I really have to stop myself now, I'm beginning to sound like a brochure. I can't help it! Everyone where I live is so obsessed with NY (which is amazing, but not as much as Boston), so I take every chance I get to rant about Boston. ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

Yeah my parents basically said, choose where you want to go, and we'll talk about it. So I chose Boston because you always read about it in history books, and to actually go see it is AWESOME! Yeah, trading cell numbers is a great idea, although mine will be changing about 3 weeks before the forum, so we will have to see about that... And hi Evan, nice to see you actually have a name. So how did everyone like the Superbowl??

I'm disapointed that the pats lost, but I have to admit, it was a very good game. I wasn't too happy with the commercials though.
Did anyone watch the new episode of House after the Superbowl? ---------- XoX Boston MED Session 3, 2008 xOx my blog-> http://forums.studentdoctor.net/blog.php?u=188514 |

Haha I was rooting for the Giants too, I'm glad they won. The last 2 minutes were the best, I was on the edge of my seat. And I started to watch house, got all the way to when she was holding the computer and she fainted, and then I left to go to my house. I thought it was going to go until 9, then when I got home and found out it was over I was ticked. I heard about some of what happened from my friends. I'm so mad I missed it.
