i heard from people who went to D.C this year that you choose the site visits and stuff based on your top three choices. However they saaid you might not get your top choice, you could get any of the top three choices you choose. Im pretty sure!

does anyone know what the "group spirit" stuff is on the schedule? theres a couple times where it says "group spirit preparation" and then "group spirit performances" anyone know??

I just came back from session 1. You'll be placed in a group which you'll find out on the first day. The group spirit performance is you have to have all members of the group on stage performing something that relates to your group and/or NYLF. You can either do a skit, dance, or sing. Don't worry about it too much. You'll get more detail during your week and hopefully you and your group members will be able to come up with something awesome.

That's correct. You'll be given a sheet with your ratings of site selections on the first day. You won't neccessarily get your top choice, but they try their best to give you one of your top choices.

its like a talent show. u perform an act of some sort with ur MED group. its pretty fun, ours was amazing : )

The talet show is awesome and have fun with it... the funnier you all the more fun you have!! Oh and DONT let the other groups steal your idea!! that is what happened in my session!!
