Yellow Fever - is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes that causes fever, jaundice, kidney failure, and bleeding. Yellow fever is caused by a small virus that is spread by the bite of mosquitoes. This disease is common in South America and in sub-Saharan Africa. Anyone can get yellow fever, but the elderly have a higher risk of severe infection. If a person is bitten by an infected mosquito, symptoms usually develop 3 to 6 days later.

hmmmm... I don't play any musical instruments. But I am a lifeguard at an indoor pool.

Rett syndrome: An X-linked dominant neurological disorder that affects girls only and is one of the most common causes of mental retardation in females. Girls with the syndrome show normal development during the first 6-18 months of life followed first by a period of stagnation and then by rapid regression in motor and language skills. The hallmark of Rett syndrome is the loss of purposeful hand use and its replacement with stereotyped hand-wringing. Screaming fits and inconsolable crying are common.

Oh duh! You said you play football. Yeah we have like 2 weeks of practice during the summer. 8 hours a day. I wouldn't recomand it either

Escherichia coli (aka E. Coli): There are many different strains of this bacteria, including some harmless ones. Some can still make you sick though, and the most common one is called Shiga toxin-producing E. Coli (STEC). It may show symptoms such as vomiting, upset stomach, and diarrhea. STEC can lead to other illnesses such as pneumonia or urinary tract infections. It is caused by food/water contamination.

Amanda - You play tenor sax, right? I have a friend who had that instrument in band last year. I wonder, is the practice you spoke of similar to the band camp that my band friends always talk about?

A fact or two about me: I like to play the piano. I love to run and I'm a freshman in Forsyth County in georgia.

Encephalitis: Inflammation of the brain. Encephalitis occurs, for example, in 1 in 1,000 cases of measles. It may start after onset of the measles rash and present with high fever, convulsions, and coma. It usually runs a blessedly short course with full recovery within a week. Or it may eventuate in central nervous system impairment or death. Encephalitis can cause brain damage, which may result in or exacerbate the symptoms of a developmental disorder or mental illness.

Umm...I have been to the Netherlands. I love all sports (except golf), and I have recently become almost obsessed with this condition called hemineglect (aka spatial neglect) because it is completely fascinating and mind-boggling at the same time.
