YES bring a lamp or some form of light because theres one small ceiling lamp above your dorm door and at night it becomes terribly hard to see

BRING your own towels and sheets and pillows, the ones in the dorms are disgusting and it can get extremely cold at night and the ones they give you are really thin

if you are a girl, take bandages with you because the professional shoes will KILL YOUR FEET, and take advil or tylenol because you will need it at least once

it was definitely the best ten frikken days of my life! make as MANY friends as you can because these are people you will NEVER forget, remember, put yourself out there and don't be shy

yea you get A LOT more free time than you expect because lunch and dinner are about two hours long and it usually takes only 15 minutes for someone to eat so the rest of the time is yours

yea bring EXTRA money to buy food in the campus or order because cafeteria food sucksss

hey
what the others said!! lol.
and bring like cards or fun games//frisbee or something...
my group played frisbee a couple of the days during our down time..
and as the others said, it was such a great and amazing time...
if anyone is in the Freud group, u'll have eric as ur leader and he is amazingly awesome and tell him i say hey!!
u'll have a lot of fun and dont worry about meeting new people and making friends, since people are thrown together with strangers, everyone is in the same position of not knowing anyone..so open up and be yourself, you'll make better friends that way...

um well like everyone has said it is the most amazing time of your life! If any of you are in Drew group then Lindsay will be your FA and if so tell her Kevin says hi! Anyway you will be dressing professionaly about 4 or 5 times and it isnt for that long so you could re-wear something. There is probably more relaxed pro. time though. You really dont need that much casual clothes because most of the time it will be for like 30 minutes. I would suggest just to be open and talk to as many people as you would like to because it will really make your time more enjoyable.and the cafeteria food isnt as bad as they say it is cuz there are mant choices that really cant be screwed up

would you advise bringing a laptop like just to take notes on, or would it be better just to leave it at home?

i wouldnt bring a laptop it would be more of an inconvenience. There is room for notes in the book they give you or you could bring a notebook. I just carried my ipod and stuff with me but you could leave it in your room. There are 2 sets of doors that are always locked before you can get into your bedroom so you could also leave it there.

Haha don't worry about looking up current issues in medicine simply because you don't need to, unless you want to have an educated conversation with the speakers, which I'm sure none of you will want to. I wouldn't recommend bringing your laptop either because it becomes too much of a hassle to look over, but there were people who brought it and it turned out extremely handy at times. Have a good time everyone!
