so im going to nylf med L.A.(session 1) and i was looking at the schedules. just about every night there is a social? what exactly is this?what i mean is could we go out and check out l.a. after we;re done for the day? is there a curfew?and if so what is it? and do we ever have time to just chill ou at the beach?

I haven't gone yet but from what I have heard, socials are just a few hours after dinner we you can just hang out. I don't think you can leave atleast that I know of you can't.

that would be cool if we could though
and its not right on the beach so we wouldnt actually be close enough to just walk there
i'm pretty sure the social is just sitting around somewhere and hanging out with everyone
you could probably go to your room to but i'd say thats about it

and im guessing we wouldnt be allowed to just "wander" outside?..and also what if we want to use the facilities that ucla offers like the pool or internet room or weight room and whatever else there is ?? could we go?

uhm, regarding the beach, i think that on one of the last days we actually go to the beach, according to some friends who did the same one.

and for facilities: there is a topic discussion thing about it. go to the questions for Med Program Alumni and at the top there is a topic that says Facilites and it gives you all the info about what facilities are available for LA participants.
