I knew because my NJROTC teacher is a nominating source, and there have been a whole bunch of kids that went from my JROTC unit, and all have said very good things about it.

Wow i when i first got the letter i was shocked i had no clue what it was only one teacher in my school had known the program exisited. A friend of myn i had found out later had gone to one on medicine and thats how i found out the program was ligitimate. So here i am now.
My AP US History teacher mentioned my name to another teacher and thats how I was recommended. I knew about it cause another friend of mine had gone to the one on Law last spring.

I didn't know about it until I got the letter, but I did have a teacher come up & ask me if I was interested in learning about DID fields. My friends had gone to the Medicine & Law ones previously so I knew of those, not DID.

I've been told by several alumni from my school that this is their ideal recruiting opportunity. Expect reps from a lot of agencies giving out free stuff, or just making their presence known.

Until my AP U.S teacher mentioned it to me, I had no idea. She just told me that she nominated me for this forum trip, and to keep the nominated document just in case I was not able to go. She was convinced that just being nominated would be excellant to put on a college ap.
That was back in March, so I figured that I wasn't chosen to go to the forum. Then I got the letter in the mail...
I was actually nominated by 3 different people. 2 of them teachers and one of them my friend who went last year. I knew what NYLF was about and figured it was probably pretty credible.
