Old. I posted before Wink

Yes indeed, that was a fantastic experience and by now ways or means did I want to leave.

I'm in the same boat. I wish I was back there and not doing all of my make up work right now.

any suggestions for the rest of us?

stuff we should bring, things we NEED to know before we go?

is it really important to know alot of information of an academic nature before attending?

Make sure you have a jacket because it is chilly in D.C. right now. As to the academic part, you really don't have to do anything extra special. I found that just by reading through the journal I was okay. Probably the most important thing though is...

DON'T FORGET YOUR NAME TAG! EVER! THEY WILL MAKE YOU CLIMB BACK UPSTAIRS FOR THE BLASTED THING!

i won't even have graduated by the time the reunion comes around. i don't graduate until june 16th. urgh.
and also, about the whole "what you should bring" thing. There was nothing that I didn't have that I really wished I had brought. No need to bring snacks because they have them in the gift shop. Umbrella might be necessary. Something that I noticed happened to the guys was taht they didn't bring enough casual clothes. Even though it doesn't say so, you'll want to bring enough casual clothes for every evening because of the socials every night. Also, your FA will probably let you do Saturday night simulation in casual clothes. DOn't freak out about it. I barely did any research on the Gulf of Guinea, and I was still able to be an awesome SecDef.

OH MAN. Were you part of the media group that got beaten up?! Our media was great. They were fun and would actually give us intel that we didn't even know about.
But then our Senate Majority Leader stumbled into the Oval Office after being shot in the leg.

yeah, he got shot. Actually he just got bored because he wasn't doing very much, so he was trying to find out information. So he stumbled into the Oval Office with a "shot in the leg." It was great.

hehehe

btw, what did everyone think of the question I asked to the homeland security lady?

If you forgot, it was something like this: "Since the 2004 elections, the Homeland security colour coded security threat chart virtually went into a hault. Isn't it just a nice Orwellian/political tools to manipulate people with fear?

Of course, the answer I got was awfully off-subject giving me a history of HS.

No offense to you or anything, but when you asked that question, the kids at my table and I were laughing. Really hard. We just thought it was funny that you were asking that question, especially with the gallery of the 85-90% conservative kids. I thought she was such a great speaker anyways. And also, she was answering the question, she could've answered it any ways she wanted. You opened her up for a yes or no question, and had I gotten that question, I would've gone "No. Next question."
