ok I want to start up a game. It's were one person posts lyrics to a song. only a couple lines though. and people try to guess. The person who gets it right get's to post the next set and so on. List the name of the song then the new lyrics you post under it. NO SEARCH ENGINES. let's be cool about it. unless it's impossible. so... here it goes. Since I listen to music you don't know of, I post some other stuff I like that is mainstream. OH YEAH, no underground bands. like local or unpopular.

"we're goin' down, down in an earlier round
sugar we're goin' down swingin'
I'll be your number one with a bullet
a loaded god complex
**** it and pull it"

Well, no one mentioned we couldn't use friends, which is what I did. I'm at a bit of a disadvantage not listening to that sort of musice. But it's Fall Out Boy "Sugar We're Going Down."
Now here's mine:

"Yeah, the bartender yelled, 'Y'all, it's closin' time.'
She got this wild look on her face,
An' said, 'Your truck or mine,
'I know a place down the road,
'It's kinda funky.
'Oh, all out in the country.'"

"PLAY SOMETHING COUNTRY!!!!!!" by Brooks and Dunn! I love that song! I'm a closet country fan! My friend and I really got into it last year! The lyrics are so awesome. A good break from Green Day and thier anti-US rantings. Anyways, awesome song...here's mine:

"Everybody is just a stranger but
That's the danger in going my own way
I guess it's the price I have to pay
Still 'everything happens for a reason'
Is no reason not to ask myself
If I am living it right
Am I living it right?"

Good luck!

I know that one! It's "Why Georgia" by John Mayer. So here we go:
"Ever sat yourself down when the
seat is all wet or see your "ex" sucking face with a little brunette?
Don't worry 'bout it, no don't worry.
Ever lost your religion, ever lost your
best friend, or found your last record in the bargain bin?"

Ok, well, no one responded so I'll assume you didn't know it. It was "Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing" by SHeDAISY. I'll do a non-country one now.
"Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up:
These are the best days of our lives.
The only thing that matters
is just following your heart,
and eventually, you'll finally get it right."

i wasnt sure, so i asked a friend, and he said it was "in this diary" by the ataris. now i've got one

Wind me up
Put me down
Start me off and watch me go
I'll be running circles around you sooner than you know
A little off center
And I'm out of tune
Just kicking this can along the avenue
But I'm alright

Ok, I cheated, but no one else was contributing, so I decided to get it moving. It's "Jerk it Out" by Caesars. Next one:

She was a fast machine,
She kept her motor clean,
She was the best d@mn woman that I ever seen.
She had the sightless eyes:
Tellin' me no lies,
Knockin' me out with those American thighs.

AC/DC's, "You Shook Me All Night Long"

here's a new one...

She said
"don't, don't let it go to your head
Boys like you are a dime a dozen,
Boys like you are a dime a dozen"
She said
"you're a touch overrated,
you're a lush and I hate it
but these grass stains on my knees
they won't mean a thing"

And all I (all I)
Need to know (need to know)
Is that I'm something you'll be missing
(is that I'm something that you're missing)
(maybe I should hate for this)
Maybe I should hate you for this
Never really did ever quite get that far
(maybe I should hate for this)
Maybe I should hate you for this
Never really did ever quite get that...

Taking Back Sunday "You're So Last Summer."

"Whatever poison's in this bottle will leave me broken, sore and stiff.
But it's the genie at the bottom who I'm sucking at. He owes me one last with.
So here's a present to let you know I still exist.
I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his lips.
Tell all the English boys you meet, about the American boy back in the states.
The American boy you used to date
Who would do anything you say."

WHOA. you kids obviously don't understand the game.
1) dancewoman, you're supposed to guess the one previous to you that I posted.
2) pyromaniac, you're supposed to provide lyrics yourself.
So, since y'all (the correct spelling) don't quite understand the game, my lyrics of still stand. Just look up a few posts.

Its Brand New's "Jude Law and a semester abroad!

Here are my lyrics:

It was the third of September; that day I'll always remember,
'cause that was the day that my daddy died.
I never got a chance to see him;
never heard nothin' but bad things about him.

GOOD LUCK!
