okay... my parents are soooo against myspace, no joke. but anyway, it seems we have enough people here for a conversation, but i really have no idea what to say... sorry.

so why are y'all going to the forum????...i'm leaning more toward molecular genetics and research but i still thought the forum would be a good experience

that is really awesome. I am thinking about going into surgery. I am really excited about this forum because I have a friend who did it last year and she told me that if you are interested in the medical field, then this experience will really help you decide if you really want to pursue a medical career. Even with this, I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

surgery...that's awesome, my friends have told me of some pretty amazing sounding surgeries that they got to see at the forum...anyway new question...what grade are y'all in... i'm a junior can't wait for senior year though, and college...can't wait for that...i'm planning on going to the University of Rochester in New York for molecular genetics...though from what i've heard the forum could really change all that

I am a sophomore and I live in Chicago, which means I don't get to travel very far to get to the forum.

I've also heard that we get oppurtunities to see surgeries, but the girl who went there told me she never wanted to see them. I would really like to see one, I find it so interesting.

im from Battle Creek, Michigan, which is only like three hours away...my friend got to see a surgery on someone's knee which sounded interesting...it really depends on what type of surgeries are happening though i would guess...my other friend told me to go to the morgue, but im not sure i really want to do that it sounds like there's going to be lots of cool options to choose from...by the way what's the Teddy for?? lulu is my nickname so that's how i got that

it's from one of my favorite artists Teddy Geiger. the song "For You I Will" was on the radio when i came up with it. Also, who doesn't think a teddy bear is adorable? Anyway, the morgue doesn't sound too appetizing for me either, but it could be cool, i guess.

Heeey. I'm from Cedar Rapids, IA... a junior. I know I want to go into the medical field, but I'm not sure where exactly. I'm not even certain on which college. I would really like to stay in state, so probably University of Iowa. Woopie =)

i thought that's what teddy was when i saw it but i wasn't 100% sure...I absolutely LOVE teddy geiger...around here it seems no one really knows about him

I know what you mean, Teddy has been around Chicago a few times, but i've never gotten a chance to see him. My friends aren't really into his music either.
On another note, i have no idea what college i want to go to either, but i'm also thinking of staying in state. There are so many colleges out there, i have no idea how to decide!

well...i always say im going to University of Rochester but my main goal is to leave the state and preferably the midwest in general...i wanted to go to Florida but i haven't found a school offering the degree i want there yet
my friend wants to go to college in Chicago--he really loves Chicago the city and the music scene there
...so what do y'all like to watch on tv??? im definitely a House fan, Wednesdays are Jericho and LOST, and my ultimate favorite Psych which is on the USA Network on Fridays

I love House!!! I also watch LOST and Grey's Anatomy, but not as often. My friends are really into Gilmore Girls, Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond, so we sometimes watch those re-runs on weekends when we have nothing better to do. On a completely different note, I just found out that one of my classmates is going to Chicago 2 forum too! Do you know anyone that is going to the forum this summer, in Chicago or anywhere else?

I go to a math and science center for half of my school day so im sure that someone out there is probably going too but i haven't heard of anyone yet, i was just in Chicago today at Navy Pier to go to the Shakespeare theater there. It was pretty cool but i didnt get a chance to eat at Bubba Gumps, oh well, anyway if your're into the theater thing i definitely recommend it... its the Taming of the Shrew right now

the last time i went to a shakespeare play it was A Midnight Summer's Dream, which was pretty fun. I haven't been to Bubba Gumps in a while, and now i really want to go. yum
