I really like V for Vendetta and The Notebook. I also like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants a lot. Mr. and Mrs. Smith is good too, but I have only seen half of it. I like most Brad Pitt and Angelina movies... i should go rent that one to see the end.

Hey I'm Meghan and I live about 2 1/2 hours north of Chicago, near Wisconsin (Thought I'd introduce myself first). Hmmm...movies...there is nothing out right now that I'm dying to go see, but Music and Lyrics looks vaguely interesting. As for older (i.e. not in theateres) movies, I love Pirates of the Caribbean (I and II), John Tucker Must Die, the Devil Wears Prada, Ocean's 11 and 12, and even movies like the original Pink Panther series and Romancing the Stone. The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants is a good movie too, but I've never seen the notebook. I pretty much like any kind, especially mysteries, but not scary/horror movies.

Ok, so now that we have confirmed movies are great. now i must give thanks to meghan for reminding me to rent John Tucker Must Die, which I have yet to see. Yeah, so what else is there... what about sports? or music? i am a swimmer but i just made the badminton team(it sounds easy, but it really isn't, as i just found out.) and i play the viola (fyi: a stringed instrument like a violin.)

i like to watch soccer and football a lot too. This is mostly because it's what my family does and some of my guy friends play on the school team. I know people that play basketball too, but i never have time to go to the games. Swimming is pretty intense, you were right about that entirely, but i really like it.
by the way, what did you play in band for that one year?

I'm in the band at my school- I've played flute and piccolo for about 6 years. I love playing sports too. I run cross country in the fall and track in the spring, and play soccer year-round. I love playing badminton during the summer. I wish our school had a team! hmm...I love watching games and competitions at my school like volleyball, basketball, swimming, football and soccer, and watching sports on tv like hockey and ice skating. I think that's it.

yeah, in fact, try outs are this week for boys volleyball. The gym they use for try outs is the one badminton uses for practice, so guess who had to wake up at five this morning to go to practice while they have try outs after school! Me. It was really agrivating because i've never been to a practice in the morning at school that didn't include swimming in a really really cold pool. Then again, it could be just because it's monday... Big Grin

hey, does your school offer AP classes? Mine does and I've gotten so much homework lately, I can only take so much note taking about the Russian Revolution...
Anyway Spring Break is almost here!!! Two more days! Roll
You are so lucky, I have never been to the east coast, but I hear it's pretty there. My mom and I just found out that we get to go to Europe over the summer! I have never been there either, so I am really excited! luckily it doesn't clash with nylf.

Where in Europe are you going? I would love to go to Europe, but my parents want to go visit colleges this spring break. Exciting, right? I'm on spring break right now, we got today off too. Just in time too, our third quarter just ended and it was very stressful. Can't wait for fourth quarter (just kidding). My school has some AP classes too. Actually, I'm in AP english and US history right now. The english class really isn't that bed, it's just alot of writing...

I could never take AP English because writing is really not my strong point, but I am taking AP US History and AP Chem next year. They offer english junior and senior year so maybe i'll take it senior year...
Anyway, the trip i am taking to Europe is a Mediterranean cruise, visiting France and Italy. It only a week, and it's from Nice to Rome.
He you guys been to Europe? Any tips on the sites?
