Hey, I'm Lauren,a sophomore in Maryland, who plays field hockey and runs track, and is addicted to Taking Back Sunday. I've only been to Massachusetts once before, in that time I visited Boston College, Boston University, MIT, and Harvard. So all I've seen of Mass. is inside a hotel room in Natick and a few college campuses. I'm really excited about the forum, however, I noticed that you were discussing the topic of wanting to be doctors; just to "add my two cents" I am not sure that I want to be a doctor, but my chemistry teacher nominated me, and I thought it would be an enriching and helpful (in deciding what I would or would not like to do with my life) experience.

If you want to talk about field hockey, track, or anything at all.

haha, nice well you must be an excellent gym student! Smile Well I was possibly considering becoming a ob/gyn (cause babies are cool Smile) or cardiologist (heart probs. run in the family), but then again I am also considering an occupation in law, business, advertising, or engineering as well! I just don't know what to do.

I want to be a pediatrician. This is because i know alot about little ids and that kinda fun stuff. Its always good to have more than not know what you want to do because you'll have the knowledge of some fields.

hey guys! I'll have to look for y'all at the forum. I want to be a dermatologist--pretty generic I know...good hours, lots of money, cosmetic- what more could you want other than the dramatic and hectic life of a grey's anatomy star.

Wow y'all got nominated by teachers-thats way more prestigious than the way I got into it. My friend Hannah went last year and Alumni get to nominate 10 or so people. I must have mentioned to her my interest in the feild and she nominated me! Roll

To answer the girl from Maryland on the topic of track I'd have to say it is EVIL!.I run distance on our team and every moment I find myself reminiscing over my glory days in cross country. Also I am enamored of your initiative as a sophemore to go visit all those reputable and distinguished schools. You are definitely WAY ahead of me in that department. So far all I've done is made an abbreviated list of colleges that I might be interested in.

Last weekend I just got back from LJCL Convention--which is just the Louisiana Chapter of JCL. Is anyone here going to Nationals in Knoxville this summer?!
