Also, I am really excited but kind of nervous too! But I have no idea what to bring... like I am going to way over-pack. Is anyone planning on wearing dresses as professional - like baby-doll or shift style? Or does that not count as professional? I really don't understand the dress code... haha! I facebooked some of y'all so hope to talk to you soon!!

TMarcus424--

Why were the first few days rough?

Thanks for the advice on comfy shoes... I'm gonna have to go out and buy some comfy ones 'cause I know I usually go for looks, not comfort.

I was looking at Houston Session 2 and some of the people were planning on wearing certain things when they got to the forum so they could identify each other. I think it's a good idea. Is anyone in on it?

By the way, you guys will probably be able to spot me from a mile away. I look like a total Californian and as far as I know there aren't very many CaliKids going...I shouldn't be hard to miss. Blonde hair, blue eyes, decked out in Billabong and other surf brands... yeah, that'll be me. =]

That's actually a really good idea to wear something to identify each other with. What should it be, guys??

And even if we're not wearing something to ID each other with, what are you planning on wearing when you arrive?? I know we can wear casual, but I have no idea what to wear... Wink

Hi I'm Ashley, I'm from Arizona and from the looks of it not many of you are from the west coast, so I hope we have at least something in common.

hey everyone, i'm amanda. wish i would have got on here SOONer! i'm from illinois (not chicago - more like lots of corn!) i'll be a senior and turn 18 next month. philly is going to be amazing. i'm super stoked of course!
anyone that is FLYing - do you have a connecting flight in Chicago? it would be great to have someone to fly with. i leave St. Louis early in the morning and transfer in Chi-town around ten...i've never flown by myself before so it should be interesting : D
hey emily - i've got dresses too, baby doll and shift, and i'm counting them as professional.
so what's everyone wearing on the plane/in the car/when you get there? just comfy jeans and such? i don't want to look like a bum, you know?
ah! sorry this is so long! xox

Hey everybody. My name is Aaron and I'm from California.

I attended session ONE this year in Philadelphia and I'm here to give you guys a heads up on what's to come and some items you may bring.

-Umbrella - you may run into a few thunderstorms while walking to a session or walking back to the dorms. Sessions last up till 8 - 9pm! and at Villanova, the walk from your session room to the dorms is FAR.. half a mile? about there.

-musical instruments are allowed into the dorm rooms. if you're a musician, bring it! there's a talent show.

-Basketball if you want. you can get up EARLYY in the morning to play bball in the back courts.

-dont forget ur charger for your phone, Ipod, etc.

ok, IM me at omgeeeitsaaron for any questions regarding NYLF in Philadelphia.
