Ohh look, the Houston session is the only one that doesn't provide a link to the schedule yet. How convenient for us, lol. Hopefully it'll be posted soon!

oboe? specifically the cor anglais? oboe d'amore? heckelphone? cant think of any other types of oboe's off the top of my head (blame a couple years of music theory with a good teacher)

When did they release the schedule???

Isn't there also a bass oboe or something like that? We needed one when we played "Mars" and "Jupiter" by Holst. (Both are AMAZING pieces!!!!)

Go to the main page and go to schedule on the left side. Then type in the password (in the booklet they gave us) to view the actual schedules.

O... and btw we'll get our schedule
"no later than the business day before the start of each National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine session." Frown

lol, I just play the plain oboe and sometimes the cor anglais. Haha, I've actually never heard anyone refer to the English horn as that. I've played the oboe d'amore before though. =]

Starburst.freak: I love those pieces, too!

Too bad Houston didn't have a session that started on June 24 so we could get an idea from that schedule.

David_Morgan: This is totally random, but... I was reading the other Houston session's message board because I was bored and I read that you're interested in string theory! lol. I just find that really intriguing because I'm fascinated by string theory, too. Unfortunately, none of my friends have a clue as to what it is, so I can never discuss it with anyone. Have you ever read "The Elegant Universe"?
