Not bad, Andi. When we get to Houston, want to spar a bit without gear? I've not practiced in months, so I'm a bit rusty I guess. If there's a black belt anywhere around I'd love to challenge them. Hopefully they're tall--I like kicking to the head...

Anyways... whats everyone's favorite board games? I like RISK and Monopoly...

I guess I can assume that most of the people going to Houston session one are from Texas, or at least from the central United States. I'm from Oklahoma...the state with...grass. You guys are talking about stuff that you like to do in your free time, but I don't think were gonna have any. From other topics on the questions board, it seems like we aren't going to have very much free time, if any. But if you guys do wanna play poker, I'm up for it. I'm not good at it but I have played it before. I'm not playing with any money though.:P

Quite a bit going on during the forum. Too bad only Houston doesn't have the schedule released. I hope that we get a free-day. Besides, we will have a bit of time while being transported. I, for one, will be visiting the hotel's gym--I want to spar a bit. We all know it'll be busy, I just how we'll have a bit of time to relax.

Houston has a schedule, I just checked. I didn't read through it though to see if there was any free time.

Hey Thomas I'm pretty sure you would kick my butt at karate b/c the last time I sparred was in 6th grade! But I am pretty good at Hold'em, if you'd like to challenge me at that : ) So you'll be at the gym in the mornings? Cool, I was hoping I wouldnt be the only one waking up at 6 just so I could get a few miles in.
& by the way we have 2 free days.

What? I don't see the link for the schedule... Unless you're talking about the sample one.

Ok yea it says it's a sample right above the link that I clicked. Guess I should learn to read. I wonder what they based the sample on? Past Houston sessions, I guess. Anyway, where did it say we get 2 days free?

I don't play poker that well--maybe I'll have to practice a bit (hello Multiverse). I'm good at blackjack, but that game is quite simple. Anyway--one week until the actual forum. No schedule yet, though. I'm glad that my normal time zone is EST--that means my phone will get an additional hour of free airtime. Now, if I can use it is a different question. Oh, and I don't run much...

Hmm... The rest of my summer consists of SAT prep and marching band. How exciting... no vacation for me.

David_Morgan: Umm... I'm not really sure exactly which part you're talking about. Probably because I didn't comprehend a good portion of the book. I enjoyed reading it though! lol. Sometimes I would read a page and stop and be like "Wait... What's he talking about?!" haha. Anyways, what you said reminded me of the part where he used a clever scenario with George and Gracie in spacesuits or something. My favorite chapter was the one on blackholes... chapter 13? The diagrams were way over my head!
