Hey
wow...lets see...the beaches in Michigan, while they're beaches so that's cool but the great lakes are a long way from ocean water

HR - cardiovascular surgery that sounds really cool, im looking more at stem cells...how do
you get to research with dogs???...cold weather as a hobby...you obviously have no idea to have snow for three months every year...actually some people really love it, of course i sit up here waiting for warm weather and sunshine...ntw how do you dislike warm weather and livein Texas

Danielle - my favorite quote is "If you don't get out of the box you've been raised in, you won't understand how much bigger the world really is" Angelina Jolie said it

Amanda - what type of cooking? i personally can only do vegetables

Megan - you said you were a sports person...which ones?...im definitely a spectator not a participant but i love watching the football, soccer, and basketball

well i think that that's enough for now

To Megan B.:

HR are my initials (the whole "can't give my name away on the internet" deal); 70s bands (searches iPod library)- The Doors (kind of ecclectic band), Stevie Wonder (good soul), The Eagles (awesome Rock), Bob Dylan (OK) and 60s' Diana Ross & the Supremes and The Beatles are of course classics! Doing project for Eagle June 20th. Should GET Eagle by September!

To Danielle09:

Dogs are a passion of mine. I volunteer at the local shetler often (last year I volunteered 500+ hours). I search Google, look up dogs in my HUGE eyclopedia/AKC book (approx. 850pgs). Been playing piano for almost 5 yrs (on and off) (not well), but I'm getting back into it (just learned to play Greensleaves and Torreador all by myself...yay). BEATLES ROCK MY WORLD...*listening to White Album right now...*

To Sarah [lulu]:

I forgot to ask, do you want to be called Sarak or Lulu? But, to answer your questions, I research dogs in my big AKC encyclopedia of dogs (about 850 pgs) and Google information. I volunteered about 500+ hrs at the local shelter. I HATE TEXAS WEATHER. The heat kills me. I'm forced to live here...lol. I remember being in "snow" snow only once (the freak blizzard storms in Massachusetts/NY) and LOVED IT. I've been to Colorado and other COLD areas, and LOVE IT. I want to move to the NE or MidAtlantic areas in the USA. Also, if my room isn't cold (68 or below Fahrenheight), I spaz.

Haha...where to start?

ok..I love playing sports, all except cheerleading and badmitton...can't do those. Don't ask me why...just can't.

HR I completely understand. My first name is common, so...doesn't matter.

Oh, and for all those people who've never really seen a snowstorm...come to NV!!
2 Years ago, we had 9 feet of snow...not in the mountains, either!! And, I dunno what movies you've seen. In little fluries, think of little white, cold feathers falling. Blizzard, think of...hm. Very thick fog, cept this one, when it collects on your windshield, you can't see through it. In fact, two days ago? It was snowing...in June, in a desert state...what's up?

sarah's fine, lulu is a nickname that i've had since 7th grade

snow, well lets see...it's pretty at first but when you're out scrapping 3 inches of it off your car in the morning it becomes a lot less cool, though the ice is worse...one morning this year i had to get a half inch of solid ice of my car, ugghhh

seriously you have no idea how much i would pay to have weather like texas...it was 90 here yesterday and i loved it, admittedly most of those in michigan were about dying in the heat but i don't know i just can't get enough of it

later, sarah

Hey Megan B. I felt that cold front here in Utah. It didn't snow here at my dad's house, but it did not too far from here. I agree...what's up, it was 40 degrees the other day! I haven't felt weather like this since February (it was pretty nice).

Kids are great. Oddly enough, I'm glad I don't have my own.

I'm Aris. I'm 17 and live about 30 min south of SF. I'm going to the 1st session. I'm kind of a prankster, but I try not to be mean about it. I'm into soccer, rugby, and jousting. (yep, just like the knights). I game a little... not too heavy into it. I like alternative rock, and trance.

Kids are okay. Depends on my mood and the kid. 4 and under I love, anything above that can just be annoying if you spend too much time with them.

This is a great idea! Hi I'm Lynnlee, I'm a rising senior but I'm not 17 yet..I'm from South Jersey and I'm attending 3rd session in Philly.
Hobbies: cheerleading, dance, reading, listening to music, travel, going down the shore
Amanda-I've been dancing since age 5 too!
HR-cardiovascular surgeon..ambitious! Not sure about surgury yet, definately a possibility for me.
_.Megan._ -another cheerleader! all star or just high school?
amanda08-another senior!...and real snow only looks pretty like in the movies until you have to shovel it all
sarah-our weather is not as bad as yours in Michigan but it gets pretty cold in NJ too.. I think after a couple of ice storms (my favorite was the two inches of ice on everything Valentine's Day this year) the warm weather would be inviting for the cold weather lovers. haha
Danielle-forty degrees!! that's crazy for June!! It was 95 in NJ yesterday

Hey guys!
I'm Christina and I'm going to the 3rd DC session. I'll be 17 in a few weeks and a senior in the fall. I enjoy most types of music but I like fast music more than slow, mostly because it's easier to dance to. I live in New York state, kinda close to the city. I love going out with my friends, but it sucks because there's nothing to do in my town. Most of my time is spent either driving in and around my town or walking through the city. Besides NYLF I'm going to be a camp councelor at a camp for little kids and I'm going to continue working at my regular job as a chaperone for middle schoolers on trips to theme parks, movies and things like that. Then, in August I'm going to Argentina to visit family.

Snow is pretty cool hahah. It's just sad when on the side of the road it's all grey and slushy. My friends and I go to the dam whenever there's a day off from school and we sled down the hills that are there. It's childish, but a lot of fun =]

I am the worst cook ever. I swear on my life when I say that I can't even make instant pudding. EVERY time it comes out soo chunky and gross that I just have to throw it away. (Thank god for pudding cups.) Somehow, the only thing that I can make successfully is sushi, which is amazing because I love it.

Like I said before, most of my summer will be spent with little kids, so I guess it's safe to say that I like them hahah. The only thing I can't stand is when 12-13 year olds think they're AMAZING and they don't listen. That mostly only comes up at work (with the boys) but it's the most annoying thing ever.

Similarly to Danielle, I used to work with mentally disabled high-schoolers (a few were older) at a church in my town. I'm pretty sure it wasn't through the Best Buddies program, but it served the same purpose. We played board games and walked to the park once a week and we would talk about problems they had at home, since most of the boys lived together in the same group home.

Oh, and I suck at pretty much every video game ever made. The only things I can ever win are the games on Neopets, but that's not saying much because they are designed for kids much younger than I am.

Sorry I wrote so much. It's a habbit of mine.

Hello everyone. My name is Shelby and I am a girl. I am 15 and I am a rising junior. I am attending the NYLF/Med Houston session 2 in July and I am really excited about it. I live in Angleton, Texas (which is about an hour away from Houston). I love riding horses like any Texas raised girl. I have been in choir for about seven years now and still loving it, and I have been playing the piano for about eleven years now and still loving it. I love to play video games, reading, and just hanging out with my friends.

It would be so cool if we had something like that in Idaho, but I bet Idaho is too stupid for something like that. We have a charter school for medicine and one for technology, but they don't have band or overly smart genetics classes, so I jsut take a bunch of AP classes.
