no, they aren't floor length. one is teal and right below my knee, and the other is a shiny gray-blue material with black straps. they're both pleated. i don't know...i guess i'm just drawn to the style. i'm bringing both though, just in case.
i went shopping most of yesterday and got 3 suits. i was SO tired!!! i'm not sure how many outfits i should actually bring, but i'm leaning toward 7. not counting my dresses. since we will be there for 6 days, i figured i could wear one of my more casual outfits on the plane trip there. that way they would get a good first impression from me, and i'd have the right amount of outfits to last the rest of the trip. my mom says i should wear jeans or sweats on the plane though. but my prof. casual look is comfy enough.

I haven't gone shopping yet. I'm not getting really expensive suits, in Forever 21 they have professional looking clothes that are a good price, and they look AMAZING!! haha. Sorry I'm big on fashion. And i'm wearing a black dress thats knee length for the last night. I'm just gonna go down the list they gave by day to see how much i'm bringing.

I'm really nervous about this whole thing. I'm from a town with a population of 300 located in the middle of nowhere in Maine. This is a huge transition for me. I'm hoping that I wont be the only one feeling totally out of place in the city. I am excited to get out and meet some people dressed in something other than flannel and work boots =P I will be missing a week of deer hunting for this though =X

Oh my god I just went shopping for 5 hours and I am so tierd not to mention Im not the girly type so I didn't enjoy it at all and for those whom do not know what the assignment you have to get 5 mentors and 5 peers to go to a web site and take a survey but you need to know your student ID you or your parent more than likely got a email about it and things to study/remember are who the supreme court justices are and basic legal terms other than that your good as gold

hi erika, i'm from madison, alabama, but i lived in texas for most of my life. i move around alot...well... up until now i had.

we leave in...7 days!!!

i'm pretty calm about the whole thing now that i have everything i need...oooohhh! darn, except for my assignment... i still need 3 peers to take it!!! :X

and i don't know who the supreme court justices are either...but an alumni told me not to worry about anything until i got there, b/c they give you a giant pamphlet to study from.

now i don't mean to offend any democrats out there, but we had a mock election at my high school, and McCain WON!!! woo-woo!!!
